Morgans Posted August 15, 2016 #29 Share Posted August 15, 2016 We spent 4 days in Sydney and had a great time - lovely city. We loved it so much we are planning a return visit before joining the QE next year. First visit, we booked the Four Points Sheraton in Darling Harbour which was a great base - near to lots of sights & restaurants etc and things to do so if you can get it for a good price we can recommend it. (I gather its leaving Sheraton in Dec so no points after that if you are a member of Starwood. ) for our return trip, in order to see a different part of the city we have booked Pier One up near the Bridge. While we were there we:- Did the HoHo bus from outside the Aquarium round the city. Went to Manley on the ferry (beautiful trip & not expensive.) Went up to the Blue Mountains - pick up from hotel (booked with Concierge) Great trip and saw lots of beautiful scenery etc and also trip to Wildlife park to see koalas etc. Easy to do and well worthwhile. Toured the Opera House Visited the local markets Boat trip around the Harbours You will love it -
