Where to eat - eastern end of Garden District?

We will be staying at the Prytania Park Hotel next March. We stayed at the Maison St. Charles Comfort Inn a couple of years ago so somewhat familiar with the area. When there before, we ate at the St. Charles Tavern for dinner and breakfast and were very pleased. Just wondering if you can recommend some other great places to eat in that area (easy walking or trolley ride distance) that are not too hard on the pocketbook. Delmonico's is a bit too expensive for us. Thanks for your input!

I'll second the Voodoo BBQ recommendation.

Zea's is very good (definitely try the roast corn grits as a side!)

Cheesecake Bistro is worth a visit as well.

If you're willing to venture a bit further Uptown on St. Charles Avenue, Superior is great for Mexican.

Zea's is really good, but if you would like to take the streetcar (never call it a trolley in NOLA ;)) then head all the way down and go to Vincent's for delicious Italian, then you can walk to my favorite divey bar for a beer. Cooter Brown's also has good food, though it is definitely more in the bar food line than a dining establishment.

If you do go to Zea's asked to be seated in Batman's section. His real name is Keaton, like the actor Michael Keaton who played Batman in the movie.
