Nitemare Posted July 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2014 Scroll up a bit and look for the Florida departures board. Best place to get an answer to this question is there.
FreestyleNovice Posted July 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2014 There are no airport shuttles for the Miami downtown hotels. Also no shuttles to port either from those hotels. Cab fare would be around $25 and $10 for the two legs to and from downtown, which is near PoM. Which date and budget?
Sea saw 56 Posted July 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2014 We stayed at Embassy Suites Miami Airport. It had a free shuttle from the airport, and I believe it was $10 for the shuttle to take you to the pier, though we just took a taxi to avoid waiting on other people once we were ready to go the following morning. Embassy Suites always has a great free breakfast, 2 hours of free drinks (alcoholic or not) with appetizers from 5:30-7:30 is also included in the fare, restaurant on site, and since it is a suites property there is a separate bedroom from the living area-so 2 rooms. Living area has couch, chair, coffee table, bar sink, coffee maker, and there are TV's in both the living and bedroom areas. The bathrooms are perfect for a one nights stay. The pool area and exercise area were quiet and clean when we were there. There was a small convenience store inside near the lobby, which has a multi-level atrium. We often stay at ES because of the value, since all we desire after a full days travel from the midwest is happy hour, a decent meal, and a good nights rest. Check it out, they really are comparable in price to most decent hotel chains--but the extras save us $$.
