Why can I not book a cruise for February online ? I am currently 20 years old and I am trying to book the cruise for AFTER I turn 21

here is a link to the FAQ to answer your question. The way I understand it you cannot book a room until you are 25, with a few exceptions.

ALL guests in one cabin MUST be 21 or over.

Even though the OP will be sailing at 21-- they are not 21 now. and that could be the problem.

it doesnt recognize the fact. By calling or getting an agent they can deal with that.

if sailing with someone under 21 then a person in the cabin must be 25

.

Are you actually booking (logged into Carnival)? or just exploring cruise options?

I'm just exploring cruise options at the moment . I can sail at 21 solo with carnival just can't book it online until then . With RC & NC I can. I just found that weird that carnival doesn't do the same

are you sailing solo? that can be quite expensive.

Carnival tried real hard to get rid of their party image that is why its different.

I thought Royal did the same a few years back

I wouldn't be sailing solo id be sailing with a friend , we'd both be 21 at the time of departure .

Yeah, I'm thinking that's the problem. I think you have to be 21 at the time of booking, not the time of sailing.

Call Carnival instead of online.
