EMBFlyer Posted October 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2016 We're flying into Miami the day before our Silhouette cruise in March, but staying at the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale. I'm assuming that Uber is the best way to get between the two?
CruiserBruce Posted October 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2016 Define "best". We like a limo with champagne. No champagne with Uber. A quick look down the board finds MANY threads recommending shuttles first, then Uber.
Lido_Deck Posted October 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2016 (edited) We're flying into Miami the day before our Silhouette cruise in March, but staying at the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale. I'm assuming that Uber is the best way to get between the two? If you were instead staying at Homewood Suites, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn or Courtyard on or near Griffin Road & I-95 in Dania Beach, you could take the Tri-Rail from MIA for $4 or $5 per person, take a 40 minute ride and then walk next door or across the street to your hotel from the train station upon arrival. JohninDC Posted October 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2016 Uber from MIA to the ES near PE will run about $40-45; a taxi on the same route will be closer to $80  You could save a few buck$ by using the Tri-Rail suggested above and then a cheap $10-15 taxi to the ES - not worth the hassle IMHO Check with Super Shuttle, American Shuttle and GO Airport - about $30 each the last time I checked; confirm the price and then download the Uber app or research Lyft. ;)
