vacationgirl13 Posted March 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2017 Hi Bonnie, We are sailing on our first Azamara cruise this June and have a question about booking reservations for the specialty restaurants. We are celebrating a big birthday on the first night of the cruise and would really like to have dinner at Prime C but not sure if we could set this up ahead or not? Is there an email address or someone that handles special requests? Thanks!
BillC Posted March 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2017 There is no way to schedule a specialty restaurant meal before boarding the ship. I suggest that you board the ship as early as possible and immediately go to the specialty restaurant table to make your request. Usually the first night of a cruise is fairly light so I don't think you will havve a proble. Mention that it is a special occasion and they might pleasantly surprise you. You should look at buying one of the discounted packages, assuming that you are not in a suite. What I usually do is fill out an index card with the dates and times I want to make reservations and just give it to the maitre'd. They are very professional and cooperative.
BBMacLaird Posted March 28, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2017 BillC is correct. You'll have to make your reservation once onboard. Enjoy your cruise, and your birthday celebration!

Foggyzx9r Posted March 31, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 31, 2017 On our last Azamara cruise it was my wife's birthday. We had booked the specialty restaurant, purely by coincidence we bumped into the hotel director. After having a chat he asked if we were celebrating anything special, DW was all dressed up:hearteyes:. After finding out it was her birthday he excused himself and then came back after 5 minutes or so. He then proceeded to escort my wife through to Prime C and sat her at our table. She was then presented with flowers a bottle of champagne and at the end of our meal, a birthday cake. Totally unexpected and what a surprise. Happy cruising. The crew made the cruise the highlight.
