soccerpapi Posted July 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2013 I found this PDF document on the MSC USA web site that lists the packages available on MSC ships for Winter 2013 / 2014 season. This includes the departures from Miami on the MSC DIVINA. I hope this helps you when planning and booking your MSC Cruise. soccer Prepaid_packages_WINTER_2013_14_Individuals].pdf
dad son team Posted July 31, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Disappointing that the regular Allegrissimo is not available from Miami, just the Cheers and the Premium Allegrissimo packages. I don't even see that the soda coupons will be available either. Hey MSC USA...why?
AmoMondo Posted August 1, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Coupons are always available onboard. They have not been part of pre booking packages. As for the reason why the non premium package is not available, I suspect it is because that on Caribbean cruises people spend more time onboard, compared to port intensive European cruises, where only very low numbers stay onboard. Also on European cruise there are high percentages of Italians and other Southern Europeans who drink more coffee between meals than alcholol
sidari Posted August 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2013 I may be wrong but i am sure on another thread MSC USA said that both packages will be available for Caribbean sailings. I have slept since then so i could be wrong!
sidari Posted August 1, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2013 I knew it was not a dream ..... :) Question from Tangocherie and response from MSC USA re Allegrissimo. I was so looking forward to the regular Alegrissimo at the more reasonable $33. It seems the powers that be only allow Allegrissimo for Europe and elsewhere excluding US departures. Why is this? Seems unfair for the US based cruisers. It appears to be a poor business practice for a company hopping to attract a larger share of the North American cruising market. Might consider changing to Celebrity for the beverage included cruises they offer. Happy Friday Cruise Critic friends- I can confirm that there will be another Allegrissimo package available that is considered our "classic" package for the Caribbean season and for MSC Divina departing from Miami. This package should become available within the next few weeks and is considered a lesser value than the premium. HAPPY SAILINGS! __________________ MSC Cruises (USA)

tbmrt Posted August 1, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Yes, Allegressimo (regular) will indeed be available from Miami. When you login to view my cruise, Allegrissimo is avilable under special services. Enjoy! I received a message today from MSC's US Customer Service Supervisor just now as follows. (Although MSC's chatline told me that the package could now be ordered, apparently that is not the case. I hope they don't raise the price more than the $31 currently showing on their website.) I will let you know how this works out. Barbara, I have been going back and forth with our setup team who assists with this. They are working on getting it added. I’m hoping it should be done possibly in a few days. I’ll keep you posted! Saundra Lamb Supervisor, Customer Service

Tangocherie Posted August 2, 2013 #9 Share Posted August 2, 2013 What a bummer! Instead of charging $31/day for the "classic" Allegrissimo package, MSC has decided that the US market should be charged $44/day for the same package. Why?
