Live from Celebrity Eclipse 7 May 2 nights

Good morning

Today many people are boarding the eclipse and we will be checking out the changes. Hoping to post pictures from :

The world class bar

Slush

Gastrobar

Luminae

There are a couple of us who have said we will post pictures and any updates we can

The cruise is only 2 nights so we have a lot to get round and reliant on my phone and the cc app so will do what we can. This is a holiday for us so We apologise now if the pictures take a while as with so little time and so much to see we predict we are going to be enjoying ourselves and will get distracted.

So if you post questions and we don't get to you we apologise now. We may be hampered by the Internet too so if we can make a note and respond once we've disembarked, we will.

We have an interesting cruise ahead including (the brits will recognise these names):

Oz Clarke, wine expert - who were spending lunch tomorrow wine tasting with

Ben Fogle - explorer, tv personality, adventurer - doing talks and likely telling us all about the wonderful shore excursions he designed for celebrity

There are apparently 30 future cruise consultants getting on so there's going to be many cruises booked this trip.

We have some celebrity dignitaries too and not to forget our wonderful cc roll callers who will be meeting to say hi at the sunset bar at sailaway.

This cruise being short was advertised as 'no formal' however many of the roll callers have said they are bringing their finery.

Last but not least, this is a thread to inform and share . It's for people who want to see the changes after dry dock. So if you don't want to spoil your surprise of your trip on Eclipse and want to see them for yourself stop reading now.

Crush has always been on the s/class ships next to the martini bar, slush is the new bar that's been added by the pool! very nice drinks! [emoji39]

There you go I was right first time round. Yep I've had a few drinks sat at crush so now for the slush experience

As we are boarding sat for the fjords I'm eagerly awaiting you're updates & pictures! Thanks for taking the time out while on the ship!

I dont know if you will be spending on-board but I found yesterday that CelX are giving us a cracking conversion. I bought $200 for just over £119 - equated to £1=$1.68. I called them up and even paid with my cashback credit card - happy days:cool:

I also meant to say that please anyone on the cruise feel free to post and add pictures as it doesn't have to belong to me

Justine even has a couple of her own now... She loves wearing them on match days to show her colours!

The only money we normally spend onboard is our annual donation to the casino!! [emoji33]and we already have a bundle of dollars to hand over... [emoji23]

World class bar is brighter with a shorter menu

Tiggertastic, thanks for taking the time to post here with pictures too. I got off Anthem of the Seas yesterday and was going to stay down in Southampton and get on Eclipse. Until I looked at the price of the only available cabins, S1s at £1000 a night. I think not!

Gastrobar -,they've added hi tables and beer fridges and best of all the bar staff are bar sommeliers and Andre has just picked me a perfect one for my taste

So glad to hear that! My OH is a big craft beer fan and I was a bit worried they wouldn't have the new beer range in by Saturday. I just hope the drinkers on the two day cruise don't drink their way through all the supplies! :D

Future cruises has moved next to quasar and they've literally finished laying the carpet. Didn't stop us booking a cruise

All cabins ocean view and above get free drinks, gratuities $300 obc and extra obc

Ok we're famous, they're shooting a commercial and just been filmed and asked to read the label of a bottle and take a drink. I see our future on the cutting room floor

I guess our arm could be twisted to book another cruise while onboard from sat then! [emoji16] the problem is fitting them in.. Who said its to early to book up 2017![emoji41]
