Live from VOS out of Bayonne

well we made it onboard...so far everything is great...got upgraded from inside room to an ocean view for free...if anyone wants to know anything special...post and i will try and stop by and update this...they did not start boarding the ship until around 12:30, other than waiting for that check in was very smooth

Just wondering, what changes have they made? Did they redo the aquarium? It was the only thing in February that actually showed it needed some work.

I have a few questions for you..

How was the embarkation process? How will it be for people in a wheel chair?

Second one, since you are on the internet, what are the fees? How does it work if you bring a laptop? Can't decide if we should risk bringing it..

sorry for the delay getting back...ill just try to answer some of your questions

internet is 50 cents/min(why im typing fast)not sure about in room charge

we drove to port from pa..extreamly easy

checking in was fast and painless, we did wait after checking in because we got to the pier early...boarded about 12:30

the sea was has been moderate(4-7ft waves) but now we are off the flordia coast and is getting much better

food has been pretty good so far no complaintes

ill try and get back on tomorrow after labadee

I know you said internet is .50 a minute. Did you check to see if there was a package price? On one of our cruises you could pay for a package price of 50 minutes or 100 minutes and it was much cheaper. I don't recall if it was RCCL or not. I know that Carnival and NCL both offer a package deal.

Celebrity handles the towels this way, RCI does not. The towels are provided to you in your stateroom and they are on an exchange basis only and towels not returned are chargeable to your sea-pass acount. They keep close tabs on them.

Since you are the first to visit Labadee. Can you tell how what kind of shape it's in?

just got back to the ship from a great day in labadee...everything was fine...no damage what so ever anywhere that i saw...we just had a nice beach day of laying in a hammock for about two hours and taking pictures of the beautiful island

beach towels were in our room last night after dinner

not sure about any internet packages

seas have been a little rough, but hopefully since we are in the caribbean now they will get better

i forgot to answer the upgrade question...we got on the ship went to our original room and the key didnt work...i looked at the key(they room number is coded on the key) and the room number was different so we went to that room and viola...ocean view room on deck 2...we didnt ask for it they just upgraded us

Thank you ever so much for the updates. We have less that 4 weeks before we will be on the voyager and I find your information exciting. Thanks for the info about the beach towels. I know in the past they supplied beach towels but after reading other threads, I was beginning to question it. Hope you are having a GREAT trip and I will look forward to your updates.
