  1. Good day. During the night we crossed the equator for the fourth time this voyage. Indian Ocean is pretty much a millpond today. They did a great job of decorating Windows (Lido) last night as there was a 50/50 chance of rain. The culinary team does such a fantastic job on special dining nights. The Other Guys quartet put on a great show last night Tonight will be “Almost” Newly Wed show and Tom on guitar/piano. He’s very good. So we are chugging along cause that’s what you do when circumnavigating around Africa. Have a great, safe and healthy May. Bruce
  2. Graham .. Haven’t seen any rabbits on the Indian Ocean today. Matter of fact we haven’t seen much of anything out here. A whale spout awhile back. Anyway Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit back at you.
  3. Time heals but great memories last forever. Thanks for checking in and wishes for acceptance.
  4. In a mass practice emergency drill yesterday Milan was deceased but miraculously arose and back to his wonderful service. Agree he is a great ambassador for Azamara.
  5. Tonight’s Dinner under the stars was moved to Windows. They really decorated a special venue along with entertainment.
  6. Yes upgrades were offered but not aware of how much. Haven’t met anyone yet who upgraded.
  7. Good Day To You All. It’s just another sea day here. Currently headed South about 250 NM above the equator and a good distance off the Somalia Coast. Back in the Indian Ocean we are moving along at around 16.2 knots on a relatively smooth Indian Ocean. Weather has not been great for pool and outside activities with cloud cover and occasional showers. Which leads to debate whether tonight’s Dinner Under The Stars will become Dinner Under The Ceiling? The Other Guys quartet are back performing tonight with the theme Legends. Elvis, Bee Gees, Chuck Berry and likes. In browsing through the Daily several of you or spouses/friends are having some medical issues and are in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the reports and post. Bruce
  8. Here on Onward it’s just another sea day. We are currently cruising along around 16 Knots on a rather smooth Indian Ocean. We are around 250 nautical miles above the equator and hundreds of miles off the Somalia coast. We attended our astronomer lecture and have just enjoyed a lunch at the Patio. The weather has not been good for pool lovers with clouds and occasional showers. That has caused tonights’s dinner under the sky to be held in Windows. Only bar open tonight is Living Room but I would presume tonight’s Cabaret show of the Other Guys one will have drink options. Tonight their show is entitled Legends of Rock and Roll. Tony Marky gave a lecture yesterday on the Pursuit’s Cruise to Nowhere which was entertaining. We all were told up front that this would be a different cruise experience if we elected to stay onboard. For someone who needs lot’s of activities this would be hard. For us a good book and passing sea and conversations with our World Voyage family works for us. From what we have heard total crew is down about 97 Culinary down 45. Hear they are touching up and repair work in some of the empty cabins. That’s the way it is on the beautiful Onward. Bruce
  9. I did let security know our background that I still could shoot accurately.😁
  10. Onward is presently doing 15.5 knots and for the first time in quite awhile we have a little movement with a 3-5 foot sea. We are off the coast of Somalia so the fire hoses are ready here on promenade.Presently we are enjoying the cushioned sun lounges on the partial promenade deck port side. Enjoying a good book but the ocean breeze and the sound of the ocean is threatening to become nap time. They had a pool side BBQ lunch today and that is also causing drowsiness. We just love to cruise. It’s going to be hard to return to land. Thanks for the reports and post. Bruce
