Thinking about this. Scheduled docking time 1pm. Realistically, won't be off the ship until 1:15 the earliest. 15 to 20 min bus ride over. That only gives us about 3 hours at the Center. Not much time.
Is there anything else worthwhile at PC? This may be another stay-on- the - ship port.
Our Symphony OTS stops at PC for a few hours. We'd like to tour the space center. Ship excursion or is there transportation available from PC to the Space center?
I'd wish they would run one more ferry per day. In the past, you'd spend too little or too much time in St. George. Another scheduled ferry would give more options.
Looking at the harbor cam and marine traffic maps this morning, I see an unusual amount of ships docked and slowly sailing around the port(s) of NY. Some moored ships are in a day ahead of schedule (Liberty OTS in CL, for example). Could this all be due to the Hurricane offshore? Were their itineraries all drastically? Missed ports?
Yes, watching the wake on a sunny and calm day is soooo relaxing. But at night, when you want to star gaze or watch the moon illuminate the ocean, the light from the stairway makes that nearly impossible.
How much does it cost if you wish to make something? How long is the class? Can you pick the object you want to make? Is there a minimum age to participate?
