Personally it all comes to everyones individual preferences. My hubby enjoys a drink of an avo and evening, plus coffee in the mornings, water and tonic water during the day. I enjoy a cocktail or 2 only, plus coffee and water. We enjoy the wi-fi with the package as well. So for our individual needs, it is worth it. No checking the bill every few days, we know all these are covered, and frankly it is our decision and we are happy about it........ Others make their decisions, on their own personal needs and budget. Princess make the offer if you want them. Probably a lot better than other some cruise lines Simply pleasures are your own choice. No complaints for Princess here.

Thank you to all for the interesting information. I was still going by the info of the Discovery coming out to Aus, and was very excited in planning a cruise on her...but alas - all thinking has now been changed. Will be very interesting to see the new itineraries. Have been waiting forever to see what they were going to do. Will miss the Coral out of Brissy. She is a much loved ship here. For those with the "inside info" please post here for us cruisers to get a sneaky peak before it goes live for Elite. We like booking on release to get preferred, value for money cabin. mmmm I can see we will be busy next week scanning the new itinerary's. Hope for a good itinerary for 25 WC.....Crown!! Interesting indeed. Will only be doing the WC once. Thanks everyone for these updates.

Any news of the CORAL PRINCESS WORLD CRUISE 2025 - departing from Australia

I agree.... I am waiting and waiting. The Island Princess 2025 cruise was announced to the current cruises onboard the world cruise now. And Australia is getting getting the Discovery Princess down here in 2024/25. WHERE ARE THE ITINERARIES PRINCESS????

We are also waiting - rather impatiently now. We have booked the Brisbane to Yokohama segment, and also the Anchorage to Vancouver segment - just waiting for the missing link.!! Also noticed that Princess no longer have the Rockies Cruise Tour. But that's OK we can book separately. If Princess sold this as a Sydney to Vancouver (1/2 a Circle Pacific) it would sell really well. Anyway we just have to be patient until the powers of be decide when we should know. !!

2024 sailings We are booked on the Royal Princess from Brisbane to Yokohama from 8 April to 27 April for 19 nights Next listed cruise on the Royal is in Alaska from Whittier to Vancouver 11 May to 18 May for 7 nights. There is a missing link of 14 days from Yokohama to Whittier. We would love to do a B2B2B.....to sail from Australia to Vancouver. We thought that maybe it might go in for a mini refurbishment , but it still needs to be in Anchorage on 11 May!! Where is this missing link Princess? You would do well to sell it as one cruise.

We are sailing on the Royal from Brisbane to Tokyo.....I too noticed the difference of 14 days, I knew that the Royal has done the last couple of seasons in Alaska. I have been waiting for these cruises to be released, as I really want to stay onboard to do Alaska and then the Rockies. Wee just have to be patient for a few more days I suppose
