I was just on the Celebration last week. They had Almond & Soy milk, although they did run out of almond milk one time I asked.

Do the locker rooms by the sauna have showers?

My husband & I will both have the Cheers package. Is it possible for me to bring his card with me & get a speciality coffee for both us? Same thing for alcoholic drinks? TIA!

We're cruising out of Miami next month and not having any luck finding water shoes right now in MN. We're staying at the Comfort Inn Downtown/Brickell hotel. Does anyone know where we can find some reasonably priced mens water shoes in that area? Does CVS around there carry them??? TIA!

Is Los Cinco Soles in the port area?

I totally agree, so many factors that could affect one person's experience vs another. I definitely am a light sleeper. The noises didn't wake my kids or husband. A cove balcony is also a different experience than a regular balcony as you're so much closer to the water. I'm hoping you have a fabulous experience!

We stayed in a cove balcony, 2429 I believe, which is right across from the Family Harbor Lounge, on the sister ship Vista. Pros: My kids loved playing video games in the lounge & the ease of a quick breakfast & snacks was great. Cons: Being so low we took the elevators way more than we usually do & felt the room was far away from the action. The worst part though was that I believe the room is under the kitchen galley. I'm a light sleeper & this was the worst room for hearing noise...banging & thuds all night long. I'll never choose this room again for that reason. That being said, our friends had an oceanview room for 5 a few rooms to the aft & didn't hear a thing.

Dear Carnival, PLEASE Bring Back Chia Seed Pudding!
bandjwayne replied to ShakyBeef's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I suggest asking your waiter or a head waiter if that's something they could make for you. My husband loved rice pudding and mentioned once to a waitstaff that he was sad it was no longer available. He said no problem & specially had it prepared for him the next day! Doesn't hurt to at least ask. -
Cheers Drink Package: To buy or not to buy
bandjwayne replied to Mr.Stumpy's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I use the Cheers package as an opportunity to try new drinks. If I don't like something I simply don't drink it & don't feel bad about it. Sounds like you could take advantage of the same situation. Mixing your own drinks isn't as easy/relaxing as ordering from a bar. I also like knowing exactly how much I'm spending...Cheers allows my mind to stay calmer & that helps make vacation more relaxing. -
On the formal nights does the buffet have prime rib and lobster like the dining room serves?
-
I think WI has done away with a road test to get your license. That definitely would free up some DMV workers to help others.

When does purchasing a Cheers package become economical?
bandjwayne replied to BarbieGee's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I don't usually drink all that much, but my husband drinks more. I guess I figure it's worth the price so I'm not concerned about how much his bar bill. Plus I take the opportunity to try new drinks. If I don't like a drink or just don't want it all, I feel just fine about not drinking it all. -
Considering Carnival for the first time…
bandjwayne replied to Shona_winelover's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
My husband and I have been on about a dozen cruises, 1/2 with Royal and 1/2 with Carnival. We love them both. Royal wins on dining room food and slightly better service. We've taken my kids on only Carnival - mainly because of itineraries on the dates we're tied to and the casual food options. 5 days on the Paradise was enough because it was a smaller ship with less to do. 7 days on the Vista was great and we're looking forward to 7 days on the Vista. The Family Harbor Lounge on the Vista was a huge hit when my boys were 7 & 10. They'd get ready for dinner, we'd send them to the lounge, right next door, then my DH & I would get ready. We had a Cove Balcony room that was plenty big & decorated very family friendly. The only thing I didn't like was that I heard noise from above our room (I'm a very light sleeper though). I also agree with the comments that Royal and Carnival have a lot of similar guests and it really depends on the length of the cruise. The quietest cruise DH & I have ever been on was a 9 day Panama Canal Cruise on Carnival. I'm sounding like a broken record here, but do the longer cruise, less time at Universal. We went to Universal last year. (boys 14 & 11) We bought tickets for 2 days, and got 3 days free. 2 days was enough to see everything. We went back for a third 1/2 day, but then the kids had had enough. Riding the same ride over & over just isn't as exciting. Plus it will cost more & not be as easy as being on a cruise ship. Good luck with whatever choice you decide! -
I noticed today that my Feb 2023 cruise price has dropped about $100. I'm not yet at the final payment due date. How do I get that price difference back? I booked the cruise by calling Carnival.

I have a question, I have never received an update email from Carnival. Is that because we are going until Feb of 23? It would be nice to get these updates.
