  1. It’s called the Sun Deck for a reason…on the Ascent, yes you could find a lounger out of the Sun or under an umbrella, as long as it wasn’t too windy for them to be open. I assume the Beyond is similar.
  2. Glad to Cheng weigh in, finally some real knowledge of maritime events.
  3. Honestly, I can see the prices being fair myself, I’ve priced enough hotels lately to know. $400 a night with zero food etc is more the norm lately than not in a nice hotel. Nothing is less expensive than it used to be, except televisions. 🙂
  4. Oh I totally get the reason for the rule…was just curious of any ramifications of this..
  5. Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission applies here? what was harmed?
  6. If going in Yacht Club, you’ll be fine…regular cabins, not so much..fact is, I wouldn’t sail on MSC in a non YC room..I’ve done it, once..3 times in YC so far since. Elite on Celebrity if that helps..I much more enjoy the entire Celebrity ship overall vibe over MSC. Regular Verandas suit me fine on Celebrity..Aqua for a splurge…the Retreat for a special time on E Class.
  7. Where are the rock climbing walls on Celebrity ships? I must have missed that.
  8. Must have been Tasos…he’s the best. Don’t miss the crew volleyball challenges..
  9. Sailed her in Jan, nothing I didn’t enjoy…just do it..
  10. Easy, on land I see it all the time..if someone hadn’t been out to a nice steakhouse in 29 years they would have sticker shock too.
