Puts me in mind of a quotation from Webster's Dr. Faustus - 'hell hath no limits nor is circumscribed in one self place, but where we are is hell, and where hell is there must we ever be.'
It always strikes me as a damned cheek that vegans moan & whinge about the food offerings available to suit their lifestyle choice. My lifestyle choice would be to cosy up with Kylie Minogue but I am yet to find her waiting in my cabin.
Dark Tide. What an awful film that is. I must admit the films I've watched on P&O have been of a much higher standard. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri; Nomadland (obviously somebody's a Frances McDormand fan); The Eyes Of Tammy Faye & House Of Gucci all spring to mind. For balance though I did sleep through the entire screening of that nonsense that is The Golden Compass.
It's not my responsibility to pay the 'unseen' workers. Nobody tips me in my job. As I said I respect other people's opinion but as you obviously don't respect mine I have nothing further to add. Have a good day.
We are on a 23 night back to back on QA in June and as I always do, I shall visit Reception on embarkation day to have the gratuities removed. I respect other people's views but I consider these gratuities to be exorbitant and will do as I always do and give generously to the cabin steward and waiters (providing of course that the generosity has been earned).
He wasn't impressed when I played cricket with him in the nets on one cruise several years ago and hit him for 34 off his over. Tbf he was a pretty decent batsman and not a bad bloke so I had to tell him I had played at Minor County level & he shouldn't be too upset!
