Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Hi everyone, We are cruising on Apex this Summer out of Southampton to Norway. Having never cruised with Celebrity before we would very much appreciate info on the MDR'S on board. We've read some topics that say there are no early and late sittings anymore, only anytime dining, but others seem to imply that there ARE early and late sittings. We actually chose late sitting when we booked (direct with Celebrity not through a TA). So:- 1. Can anyone currently on Apex clarify what the ACTUAL situation is. 2. Do you eat in one restaurant (if you do, indeed, have a 'sitting' booked) or can you move around? Many thanks in advance. ☺️
  2. Of course, hadn't thought of that.πŸ‘
  3. I love it! Why do cruise lines still make such dreadful decisions even after decades of experience. It beggars belief.... At least the ice cream is good. 😁
  4. What a good idea. We like ambling as well and it's not always easy to see out the back of your head to avoid people approaching from behind!
  5. I agree. The prices for a QG/PG are a lot more than Britannia Club or Britannia cabins (inside or out) & include the use of an EXCLUSIVE terrace and bar/lounge area. If this is open to everyone it will lose its appeal and, I'm pretty sure, will annoy an awful lot of people.....
  6. That's weird. I would have thought that would definitely have some. Do you think they will be added, or is it a permanent thing?
  7. Many thanks. πŸ‘β˜ΊοΈ
  8. Lovely photo! πŸ‘β˜ΊοΈ
  9. Hi everyone, Possibly a daft question, but how many of the bars have seating actually at the bar? Thanks in advance. ☺️
  10. Agree. We've got a PG in August and much prefer the look of the cabin and the restaurant.
  11. 'Heart' - now there's a great band! πŸ‘πŸ˜Š
  12. We're on her in August, but looking forward to hearing about her beforehand. Noticed you live in Inverness. My Uncle has lived up there since the 1960's. He lives in the Blackpark area. He used to live on the other side of the hill overlooking the Firth in an old Shepherd's Cottage, but he moved last year. I adore Scotland (I'm a quarter Scottish) although I haven't been for some years. It's certainly a long drive! I've driven it myself from here in Oxfordshire, but down to Southampton is even further. Have a safe and enjoyable trip down. πŸ™‚
  13. Thanks for this. Sounds very similar to what Princess used to do. We've already downloaded the app so will check at the appropriate time. 😊 Once on board can you go straight to your cabin or not? Also, where is open to eat? Many thanks.😊
  14. As a first time Celebrity passenger, can anyone tell me how boarding works when you board in Southampton. We're from England and travel down from Oxfordshire on the day, which usually takes about 1 and a half hours. We've done a lot of cruising, just never with Celebrity. Many thanks for any info. 😊
