  4. Here is my experience. First told that I would be refunded in 14 days. After 14 days, I was told 14 more days. Then told 14 more days. Then told 30-60 days. Then 90+ days. So I opened a Credit Card dispute - got my full refund in about 2 weeks after that (from my CC company).
  5. Well - I would rather die on a cruise than live on land. 🤐
  6. Actually, it does accomplish something. It takes the charge "off the books" temporarily so that interest doesn't accrue on it. I disputed my payment for exactly that reason, so that I would not have to be out of pocket or pay interest on the transaction while I wait for a refund.

  8. Hello. I booked a surprise cruise in May to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We have already taken our "annual" cruise, so there's no way my wife will suspect. I would like to surprise her in some special way, but I know that real last minute would stress her out. She needs a week or two to plan herself. Anyone have any suggestions on how to share the surprise? Thanks.
