Don't worry, there are lots of English speaking passengers on a cruise out of Singapore. Probably more than Mandarin as English is the administrative language. In terms of demographic, you shouldn't see that many mainland Chinese parties or guests, because they're still opening up. But expect more Indians, Singaporeans, Malaysians and Expats from Singapore as well as further out international passengers and you're good to go! Try and practice ya mandarin and have a go with the crew onboard, i'm sure they'll be more than willing to entertain it! Enjoy your cruise 🙂

I really hope that they design a platform from scratch for this new class. If they have to just take some influence from Edge class, but predominantly be a new clean slate design. They can do so much with a smaller class of ships as a blank canvas.

For those who have sailed on Royal and are familiar with their Unlimited Dining Package, is there a similar all included additional package that we could purchase to try all the specialty onboard Celebrity Beyond?

That sounds like a different problem. I've had the similar but different name issue. But my C&A number was still working up until recently. So it must be a glitch in their system.

That's good they should definitely keep it that way. I'm from Asia, and if I were to go on a Disney ship with family, i would definitely not expect to see a Casino. Part of adapting for the asian market they could change instead is adding more onboard Disney trademarked gift shops and specially themed shops. This falls in line with Asians general behaviour of spending more onboard at shops instead of a Casino.

If i was Disney, I wouldn't. Just cause your competition does it doesn't mean you need to. The target demographic is completely different as well. Disney is too much of a child associated brand and a casino might ruin that. Unless they already have Casinos on the rest of the ships?

Have any of you come across this problem before where your TA cannot apply your C&A number where doing so comes up with the number being invalid, but from my side, i can log in all fine into the C&A website and my profile? We've tried using different first names and tried several times, but still does not work. I realized that this issue arose after connecting my Royal C&A to Celebrity cruises and opening a new Captain's club profile linked to my Royal C&A.

Icon has always looked proportionately smaller to me from the pictures than the construction of Wonder, probably because of the raised parabolic bow that changes the scales of comparison.

Yea but now that royal has year round deployment, i don't think they will go back to seasonal deployment, it's like a slight downgrade, no matter what ship is deployed here.

Yes i believe no blocking is happening. Its a very popular itinerary and many locals from SG love to travel to Japan. (it's our favourite travel destination by survey, so seems likely that this is the reality of the availability). We've never had this type of itinerary option before, so only natural that its popular with travellers from near and far.
