I was on Panorama in February…. absolutely loved it!!  My old itinerary too!!  

I’ll be on the Horizon next month, 7/23 sailing

I loved that ship too.. she was something else.  Nothing like her at that time, the beginning of the ships today,  I’m really hoping they name a new ship after her!  Stories???  I cannot confirm or deny!!  Lol.  

When did you sail on the Tropicale?  I was a casino dealer when she was brand new .. San Pedro/Puerto Vallarta/Mazatlan/Cabo.  1982-1984, I was 21 years old.  Best time of my life

I have had more problems with “over holds” on my regular credit card than my debit card…. So I now only use cash.  Can add at the kiosk as much and as often as you like.  I got the small remaining balance ($59 or so) at the kiosk as well on the last morning.  I’ll never do it any other way.  However I travel mostly solo, have free drinks in casino.. have very few other wise and pre pay everything.  So it’s usually around $400 total.  An account with several people might not be as convenient using cash

Beautiful pics!!  I was supposed to do this trip on the Freedom before it changed..  I’m going out on Horizon 7/23 instead.  I think Alaska next summer though…. You’ve convinced me!!

Oh no….  So sorry, I feel like crying for you… but you have the best attitude. Lots of prayers and good thoughts for you!!  

I just checked with my PVP ( dear friend of 40+ years, college roommate), she has been with carnival 30 years…. She said not true.  All sailings are valid and still for sale.  She checked with Miami.  She said you must have some kind of error, and wording like that about calling would never come from Carnival.  You should check with your PVP, Carnival or travel agent.  

Weird….  That cruise is still available for sale on the website??  Anyone else have this happen?

I was on Panorama in February, never waited at all.  But that’s was at about 50% capacity…. They are very understaffed now for full capacity.  Visas for bringing on new crew are taking forever 

Can’t wait to follow this review!!!  Stuck on land here until 7/23 Horizon!!  Thanks for doing this!!

Did the pasta class on the Panorama in February…. Loved it!!  I signed up through specialty dining about 5 months in advance I think.  Was really great 

I have been on many solo sailings, Carnival and 2 NCL. NCL does a better job of solo events… but I don’t go to them, I go to be solo.  Lol.  If you choose anytime dining, there is a box to check if you want a shared table.  If you don’t check it they will seat you at a table for two.  It’s up to you, they will accommodate you anyway you like.  I love traveling solo so much, it’s  hard to travel with someone now..  lol.   Next up..  Horizon 7/23

EVERYTHING at Jijis..  love love the pork belly, fried rice, noodle side, prawns and the crepe dessert…. And everything else! My absolute favorite..  have it booked 2 nights (so far) on Horizon in July 

Took the pasta making class on the Panorama in February… loved it!!  Had a blast and learned a lot.  

I’ve been on several free casino sailings on Carnival.  Two since restart and another booked for July…. Got credit for days sailed on all of them.

I Was on the Panorama last month… I had a forward facing cabin on deck 7.  All the “secret decks “ were open except the last day which was incredibly windy

I just read she was offered today to the Italian Government to be used to house Ukrainian refugees.  Carnival would cover expenses for awhile.  They declined though.  They said expenses would be eventually too high. 

Jijis.  (If you like Asian food) Hands down!  I was on Panorama last month… one of the best meals I’ve ever had, anywhere. Their  Lunch is nothing like the their dinner .  Ill be on Horizon in July , already have it booked for two dinners!! I’ve also had the Italian and Teppanyaki, both good
