  6. I’m on the same sailing also on a sunset veranda! Yes CC is certainly a small world. I put in a few bids: aqua sky suite and Sunset sky suite. I’m not hopeful because they are minimum bids and it seems that the bulk of the move ups occurred in the last few days. I didn’t bid in the sky suite category because I didn’t want to take the chance that I’d be assigned a MC suite. But now that it seems that I’m not getting a move up, the MC is looking pretty good
  7. No catch, other than when I go on a comped cruise I feel I have to gamble more in order to keep getting offers. They know what they are doing lol
  8. You need to call them, and also go: bluechipoffers.com and go to the menu at the top left hand corner. There is an option to fill out a form if you aren’t receiving your offers. Be prepared to make multiple calls and wait for it to be corrected. I’ve been struggling with this issue for months and it still hasn’t been fixed
  9. You are special!!! However This isn’t a special offer from Blue Chip. They have a point system. If you gamble to a certain level, you get an offer that is sent to all at that level. My husband gets the same offer as you do. I gamble more and usually am offered a veranda. My sister in law gambles a couple of hundred per cruise and sometimes just gets a small discount
  10. Thank you for your informative post. I’m amethyst tier and have not found the casino hosts to be very helpful at all. Maybe I’m not gambling enough. I’ll make more of an effort next cruise.
  11. Oh I wasn’t aware of that. Thank you. We did put in our bids. We are already in a sunset veranda and would only give up that balcony if we could get a sky suite which is unobstructed. We didn’t bid on the sky suite category because we didn’t want to take the chance of being assigned a Magic Carpet sky suite. So that only leaves an Aqua Sky suite or a Sunset Sky Suite, which are not very plentiful. Fingers crossed!
  12. I have move up bids pending on an upcoming cruise that seems sold out on the Celebrity website. Do I still have a shot? I know it is possible in theory with last minute cancellations, but is there anyone out there where this has actually worked out?

  14. Apparently I am 19,000 points away from going from amethyst to sapphire in the celebrity blue chip club. I’m on a 7 day cruise in January. I only play slots. According to the rep, on average I accumulate 18,000 points on past 7 day sailings. My bankroll will remain the same for the upcoming sailing. How do I play out my bankroll to reach 19,000 points? I generally play between $1.50-$1.75 a spin. Am I better off playing less per spin so more money gets cycled through the machine and I can play longer on the same bankroll? Thanks much!!
  15. Thanks, that is the website I referenced in my original post. On that site he has more offers then the solitary one that I have although I am at least a tier higher than him and gamble twice as much.

  17. I have been having an issue with my blue chip account since September. ( not getting my offers) I have been calling and e-mailing, and every rep claims to have fixed the issue but none of them have. I tried an email to Laura Hodges (not sure if the email address was correct) but someone in the Resolution Center contacted me and said the issue was resolved. My account on their website then showed one offer listed. I thought the issue was resolved, but after that one offer I haven’t received any others. I’m Amethyst tier and generally get veranda offers. My husband, who is a lower tier has been getting offers at least twice a month, several after I received that one solitary offer. Obviously the problem remains .I need to speak with someone at a higher level then the usual reps or Resolution Center who will actually make sure it’s resolved. thanks
  18. Thanks. I tried that. At first it didn’t show any offers. After months of calling/emailing blue chip they claimed to fix the problem. I went to the site and one offer for a concierge veranda was listed. Under my husband’s cc number he received the same offer but for an interior. I thought the problem was fixed but then he received a subsequent offer 23MTH 205. I did not get that offer or any other offers other then the one when they initially claimed they had fixed the problem

  21. Does anyone know if any bars are excluded from the Elite HH, where you can get certain drinks off a specific menu? I’m reading this as if you can go to the sunset bar for those HH drinks. I love that bar!
