  1. There would be nothing wrong with getting stranded in Cabo! I was there for a week in May and it was beautiful! I would love to go back . Just my personal opinion 😎
  2. Yes! I booked a balcony GTY for March 8 for $1200 for both people. I thought this was a great price considering I paid twice that for Oasis 2 years ago.
  3. Hello everyone! I will be on this cruise with my husband Matt. We are from Pittsburgh, PA. This will be the longest cruise we have ever done. But we have done a 10 day before but we just couldn’t beat the price! And being a Mega ship! We have been on a mega class ship before (Oasis of the seas) so I’m excited to see Carnivals take on the big boys! Anxiously awaiting for this year to pass by!
  4. I was in 2371 which wasn’t family Harbor but was just a few doors down. There was a ton of noise but it was actually from everyone constantly slamming the doors and running down the hallway. Something else to consider when staying in this area. The room looked like a lot of fun though. People sure were excited to get there! I didn’t have a lot of noise from the galley though. Only one day I heard them running the vacuum before dinner.
  5. I was also on this cruise. If it helps at all, we only went to the MDR 3/6 nights due to the menu just being well blah. We went on lobster night (of course), filet night, and we went on another night where I still think I ended up with the flat iron. We even skipped Baked Alaska night which is my FAVORITE DESERT in the whole world because there was literally nothing we wanted to eat on the menu. I do however think it is Horizon specific, because I’ve sailed on the Pride since they switched to the American Table and remember the selection being more appealing. And mind you we are not foodies or picky eaters. We have no problem finding food on the ship to eat.
  6. I have done both. However I will tell you I booked my Horizon cruise through a travel agent and they had a better price than the VIFP price online. So sometimes it’s worth it to at least call and find out what they have to offer. Plus they will make sure you are taken care of for a special occasion etc... Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  7. Isn’t that the truth? Also, to add to that fact you deal with Bank of America or mostly just online, and not the royal Caribbean employee on the other side of the phone. Personally, I have never had any issues redeeming points but I don’t find anything overly exciting to redeem either. They should really improve their “reward” program. 8. Thank you so much for your review! I truly enjoyed reading it. And it made me relive my Conquest cruise all over again! She truly is a wonderful ship. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
