I bought some bottles of water in Mexico then refilled them the rest of the cruise. I need to get a bottle to travel with.

I hate all the bottled water packages that are offered on some lines. Just such a waste for the environment.

Another recommendation for either the UST or at least the galley tours they do. It was fascinating.

I was so glad we had heard about the CCL shareholder OBC here. $250 right there. And the balcony is something we always splurge on.

We've done Carnival, RCI and Holland. I think Princess has the best food but that's really subjective. We've had great service on them all.

We thought it was well worth it. They gave us aprons rather than the chef's jacket and also a picture frame. It was funny- DH and I looked bad in every photo.

We had our worst meal on our cruise in Sabatini's, really tough steak.

We had a mini suite with an uncovered balcony on the Coral recently and HATED it. The balcony got full sun and made the cabin hot. We did use it in the evening though.

We did a bicycle excursion on St Croix that we really enjoyed.

We've usually had a balcony but last cruise had an UNCOVERED one. It was terrible. We said no balcony would have been better than that.

I found a pretty good deal at Lotus spa on embarkation day. I know a lot of people avoid them, but I enjoy getting massages or facials.

We loved the Ruby! Remember most items at the International Cafe are included! Our first two days we though it was extra. Try the Cronut! I really miss those.

Big Al, you were helpful to me before our cruise so I wanted to let you know what I found out about the exposed balconies on Coral Princess.

In a word: terrible! We were so disappointed. It was too hot and sunny in the afternoon and all the sun made our stateroom hot. DH and I decided we would do without one rather than have one again.

We have purchased trip insurance for each of our 13 cruises as well as for a land trip overseas. The most we've ever had to collect was about $100 for a hotel after a canceled flight. I will NEVER regret the money spent as it was money WELL spent - just in case.

 

Tomorrow I will probably be canceling a cruise for which trip insurance was purchased. I just have to suck it up and know I made the correct decision when we booked.

Do you have insurance on this one? Sorry you have to cancel.

Since I don't cook, for me a silly reason is that I don't have to figure out what restaurant will provide my next meal.:D

I love going to Hawaii but everyday it's where are we eating lunch, dinner etc.
