  1. I love the Liberty atrium as well, very pretty. It was awesome at Christmas time. My favorite will always be the Fantasy, the first time I ever walked onto a ship! I was hooked forever. Still get some of that feeling after 35 cruises, but not the same as the first time.

It's killing their stock price, when they miss their sail dates.     I think they are tamping down expectations at this point.   Since the virus hasn't fundamentally changed, and seems to be on the uptick.  It doesn't look good for any 2020 sailings at this point IMHO.    Come on vaccine!, need that before this thing mutates into something else.   If I was in charge, I would just keep those over 70 or with compromised immune systems from sailing and just do it.   But this is more than just a issue with the CDC, unfortunately.   Mexico extended their non-essential travel ban.    All of the right pieces have to fall into place.

I’m sure glad you’re NOT in charge! I’m over 70 and a heck of a lot healthier than most people I know, including my children! Here in Florida most of the cases these last few weeks are those below 35 or so who don’t bother to wear a mask or practice social distancing, they think they’re invincible!

Well that is most unfortunate.  My next cruise is Oct 10 on the Breeze.  One more 30 day extension of cancellations will make it go away.  I really had my heart set on this, was my shiny new DIL's first cruise, plus its doubtful I will live long enough to reschedule for next year.  But, nothing I can do about it.

I'd go camping, but the national forests are closed as well, because, you know, all those wide open spaces are teeming with the virus.

We’ve been camping in the Ocala National Forest in the last couple weeks and have just reserved the last site available for 3 days at Anastasia state park in St Augustine. Most of the parks I would like to go to are full for weeks! I’d say they are pretty busy,

im really disheartened at hearing further suspension of cruising. My August 15 on Breeze was the 3rd time changing that one. Guess I’ll keep trying. I have 19 days till Diamond, but may not live long enough at this rate! Have a b2b in November to Bahamas then January on Radiance (If it ever gets done), then March 1. Maybe one of those will go. Talked to my pvp yesterday and she said it’s been really dead, she sounded so disappointed.

Where on Carnival can I find my FCC and $600 OBC ?

I've perused all around my account.  I can see my booked cruises, but not my FCC and $600 OBC.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Once in your booking, look under check in, where you can print documents.  Once you select print documents, it should be in the information pages. Will show what you paid, all that info and at the bottom should say how much obc you have.  Of course this is only available if you have a new cruise booked.  Hope this helps.

  5. A lot of people love it because it’s a smaller ship. We have only been on her once and that was enough for me (and the rest of our usual cruising group). Being a bit older than your picture looks like you are, we always book balcony rooms for comfort because we tend to spend a good bit of time in the room.  When they first added the additional balcony rooms a year or so ago, we all booked the 5 day Bahamas from Jacksonville. The ship was nice, crew was nice, food was good, casino was friendly. However, the balcony room was a total disappointment! We had 5 cabins together, not the first one had neither a sofa or chair! Never had a balcony room without sofa, let alone a chair! We ended up bringing a chair in from the balcony just so DH had a place to sit. I’m too darn old to sit on a bed to watch tv or whatever. So if you’re planning to book a balcony room, just be aware. I think they do have a straight back chair in the rooms now. We’re going to try Ecstacy when she came to Jax, but same setup.

other than that, I’m sure you will enjoy it. If you’re going to sail from port canaveral, I prefer Liberty. Much nicer, and still a good size. Crew is awesome. Been on her 7 times!

  6. Sure would be nice! DH and I are 19 days away from Diamond. Had all my cruises booked so that we’d make it in January 2021. Our 7 day Breeze for March 21 was cancelled, rebooked for May 12 same ship/itinerary and it was cancelled. Now booked for July 4 same ship/itinerary. That will likely be cancelled too. I’ll just keep on booking, but I’d love to get the days credited.

  7. We’ve been on Liberty 7 times, the last being January 2020. She’s a great ship, good size, very clean. The crew, including officers are some of the best ever.  The cruise director MarQ is really fun, makes sure everyone is having fun, too. We have a back to back scheduled for November so hoping that will happen. Also have one for March 1, 2021. Liberty would be a good choice.

  8. We’ve been on the Breeze a couple of times recently. To my knowledge the largest tables sit 12 people, those are the large round tables in the middle of the DR.  They also have tables by the windows that can seat 8 to 10 people. We’ve had our large groups put at these tables before. As long as your bookings are linked, they will do their best to accommodate your party. When everyone is on board, check to see where everyone is assigned then go to the dining room to see where the tables are located.
