  1. I agree.....will take the official port site schedule over the NCL schedule.
  2. We absolutely love Horseshoe Bay Beach. I have it down as $45 for two chairs and an umbrella so happy to read about the price decrease as we need six sets when we go back next June.
  3. Been on both and we prefer the Escape.
  4. Even though you already made your decision, I want to pipe in and say I agree with @cruiseny4life and would definitely pick option three. While I enjoy the other two runs, the Bermuda run is absolutely my favorite. It is a beautiful island and so much can be done with the overnights. We find it so much more relaxing than stopping at different port each days.
  5. I wonder if the new vibe cabanas are going to be on the 19th deck or 20th deck? Anyone know?
  6. I agree. And they are removing laser tag from the Joy to replace it with an expanded Vibe area. We have been on a ship three times with the race track and have not participated. However, we did go to the theater every night.
  7. Thank you for posting this new information. While I am still not too happy about the loss of the port side observation lounge, at least they kept a small portion of the port side.
  8. Looking forward to reading about your next adventure! Have a wonderful time and safe travels.
  9. And I would be interested to know if there were a lot of balcony cabins available. For our upcoming August cruise on the Jewel, there are 53 balcony cabins left which I think is a lot in hope of securing an upgrade bid.
  10. We have been on the Joy twice and did not partake in both the Galaxy Pavilion and laser tag facility. However, we are scheduled to be on the Joy once again next June with extended family and I am sure the eight young adults in our group would have used both of these facilities along with my husband and brother in law. My family would be more than happy to play laser tag with you!
  11. Agree. We are cruising next June with our young adult children and their significant others occupying three cabins. My husband and I are platinum while our children are gold. My husband and I own 200 shares of NCL stock. By switching out my husband and son, we will be gaining two specialty meals for two along with an additional $100 OBC.
  12. I saw that post too in FB. Have to say, I am unhappy with most of the changes. I think it is shame that they are going to take away the port side of the observation lounge for additional cabins. And will these be Haven cabins? I think Haven cabins are already at a high level and will make the Haven more crowded. Additionally, they are taking away two spaces which, I think, appeals to families with teens, the Galaxy Pavilion and Laser Tag and they both now will be venues with an over age 18 requirement. I do understand that many people will be happy with a Thermal Suite. I also think that with the Vibe being on both the port and starboard side, they additional Vibe space should be allocated to a regular old fashioned sundeck including in one's cruise fare.
  13. Congratulations! Anyone been upgraded on the Jewel lately?
  14. This past March we were in a two bedroom Haven suite on the Epic with our two young adult children. They both received 2 points per night while my husband and I received 4 points per night due to a 2 point added promotion; however, it only applied to passenger 1 and 2.
  15. Please explain more about the surprise bonus of concierge and butler service as these amenities were taken away from the Joy non-Haven suites in November 2021. Have a wonderful cruise and looking forward to reading about it.
  16. I also agree. On our last sailing on the Epic, we ate at Taste and Manhattan Room and thought the meals were delicious.
  17. MDQ is by far our favorite NCL show. I really hope it stays for a very long time.
  18. MDQ is by far our favorite NCL show. I really hope it stays.
  19. South shore here.....have you ever been to Robert Moses Beach? Completely different, no rocks and beautiful sand. My husband prefers the Hamptons beaches, but I prefer Robert Moses. The water last week was Caribbean blue. Enjoy your last evening on board and I am definitely getting that chocolate cake at Cagney's in August on the Jewel.
  20. When we were last on the Escape while they still had Margaritaville, they did have breakfast available every morning as the Joy does now. So I would think the American Diner on the Escape has breakfast options too.
