  1. Not just Ibuprofen. Besides any meds you need bring a good supply of Imodium, Pepto, antihistamines, fever reducer, cough suppressant, throat lozenges, nasal spray, c19 tests and antivirals (if your Dr. thinks they would be a good idea since it might be more then 5 days between a positive test and seeing your Dr.) Maybe repack used products back in your luggage to throw away after your cruise.
  2. You got it right! That describes my girl Samantha. I get to meet Annabel on the 6th of June and I can't wait to see her.
  3. My husband gave me an advent set of mini skeins of yarn for Christmas. I finally finished a shawl using all 25 skeins. Now on to something else! On the blocking mats. Thank goodness for a queen size bed and a guest bedroom. LOL Glamour shot
  4. Why should anyone have to "survive" on a vacation? Vacations are supposed to be fun and relaxing or exciting and unless you sign up for a reality show not survival.
  5. So in the MDR, regular room service, and Specialty restaurants they can save all the fuss by setting the tables with paper plates and plastic cutlery? I think the main point for me is why are they treating their customers who have the misfortune to test positive and let medical know like second class citizens?
  6. Yes. My husband just happened to catch a glimpse of the Facebook post from the breeder I got Samantha from. I was going to scroll on by (really I was). He said see how much she is and when she will be ready. Who was I to say no? I am driving to Texas to pick her up June 5/6. I think it will be good for Samantha to have someone to play with. The other 3 cats are so much older they don't play with her much.
  7. I will post updates in the other thread. Another Maine Coon from the same breeder but different parents.
  8. Except I would still be paying my house sitter for those days. Spending days on end in a cabin with substandard service does not seem like a fun time to me either.
  9. This just reaffirms my decision to not cruise until all these protocols go away. The thought of being in a lesser quality cabin and getting crappy food while paying for that privilege makes me give cruising a hard pass. Along with the possibility of masks being required again and having to test. Just not worth it.
  10. Those are great. Very creative. @reallyitsmema I hope everything turns out so that you can go and not worry about your Mom due to her being ok. @Mrs. H. Hello, my name is Karen, we live in Florida and have 2 dogs and 4 cats currently. The newest addition to our home is Samantha the Maine Coon cat.
  11. Since anyone with covid, vaccinated or not can be contagious I would think that you would be concerned about either population. Good luck on that test since I have been reading a lot of posts stating that people tested positive even though they stayed masked and away from other people most of the time.
