  1. We were on the Getaway. No other ships. Had a lovely day there.
  2. Hoping the Getaway will be able to stop at GSC on your cruise that leaves tomorrow! We have a small cabana reserved for the day at$404 with the $50 credit. Will update with info when we return.
  3. I found emptied frig items in the drawer under the sofa 😀
  4. We paid $309 each for an 8 day on the Getaway. Originally we were booked in a spa cabin but after a price drop it was actually cheaper to get an aft balcony and buy the passes. So we did! This will be our first time in an aft cabin and we're excited to try it. First time for the spa too, so that's a plus as well!
  5. Good to know, thanks. Just checked and they show up in Summary as well. See you there!
  6. Should purchased spa passes show up on my edocs? We purchased week long passes for our 1/31 trip but I don't see them on our edocs anywhere. I'll bring my receipt of course but just wondering if they usually are shown there. TIA.
  7. Following... I'll be on this same cruise with DH and friends. It's almost here!
  8. My sister-in-law left her car keys behind (in the far dark corner of the safe). She did eventually get them back but it took months. I hope you get your items back.
  9. I bought this one specifically for cruising... small, lightweight and quiet! It's USB plug only so you'll want an adaptor. 3 speeds and tilts. https://www.amazon.com/TriPole-Powered-Portable-360°Rotation-Personal/dp/B0867DC9MP/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=I0BH4JSTO6VN&keywords=tripole+fan&qid=1666813590&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIyLjA1IiwicXNhIjoiMi4xNCIsInFzcCI6IjIuMDgifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=tripol+fan%2Caps%2C210&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1
  10. Thanks for posting the dailies! We are on this cruise departing New Year's Eve. Very interested in your review.
  11. Thanks for posting! We are on the Getaway NYE sailing. Do you have any info on the cabanas? Are they in the middle of the "party" atmosphere or do you think it would be a little quieter there vs. the loungers? Is the Silver Cove beach area open to all or is that only for Haven guests? Enjoy your cruise!
  12. I was the first in our group of 6 to complete the application (about 30 days out) and was the last to receive confirmation, lol. I called after they had all gotten theirs and was told they could not process phone requests for sailings more than 7 days out (I was at 9). I called back 7 days out and had it within 30 minutes.
  13. Thank you for this. Will call my PCC tomorrow!
  14. Would you say Getaway would be similar? We just booked an aft cabin (13904) and I was excited - but it looks like it's nearly equal to a standard size balcony?
  15. $40.00/day. Our 7 day cruise was $280.00. Pay upon arrival.
  16. Last departure is 9:45. It took us about 30 - 40 minutes to actually be off the ship. Luggage, customs...we were in our car and on our way just before 11:00.
  17. Back last Sunday from Bermuda on Joy. Looks like your questions have been answered, I'll just add to #7: Free NCL ferry from the dockyard to St. George: Departs Dockyard Departs St. George 9:00 AM 10:00 AM 11:15 AM 12:30 PM 1:30 PM 3:00 PM 5:15 PM Last day in port will be a different schedule. I believe it was out at 9 AM and returned at 12:30 but not sure.
  18. I'm not familiar with QR codes for proof of vaccination... I had a picture of my vaccine card (the kind with signatures after each dose) on my phone in case it was needed but I didn't even need to show that (although signs throughout security said to have it ready). I think since Bermuda requires you send proof of vaccination in order to obtain the Travel Authorization (which we had) it was enough to show that.
  19. Oops, not that 'vibe' ... didn't go there this trip. Just the overall feeling of the ship was different. Not as much excitement. The bars on the waterfront were very quiet - at least whenever we went by.
  20. Thank you for the well wishes. We are booked on the Getaway NYE 😃 Not sure what entertainment they'll have but looking forward to whatever it is!
  21. I'm already booked in Dec. on the Getaway 😄 Was your first time on the Joy pre-Covid? I'm curious your thoughts on this trip vs. your earlier one. I've been on the Escape twice (my fave) and the Breakway. The Joy seemed to have a different vibe to me and I'm not sure if it was the ship or being after Covid... or something else.
  22. It is literally walk over and pay admission. Loungers are paid for at time of entrance if you choose to get them. We left at 1:00 so it may get more crowded later but we didn't feel it -- having our space with chairs, etc. and more room than Tobacco Bay where the chairs are on top of you. I did hear the same person who owns TB (not the beach, I know they're public) owns Snorkel Park as well. Don't know if that's true.
  23. I can understand the mixed reviews... people who want a true Bermuda beach will not find it here... but it fit our wants/needs for that day. They'd had a huge Cup Match party the night before and we did find a couple of pieces of glass just beneath our umbrella. We had no issues walking barefoot in/out of the water. There is food & bar service. Someone got the chicken tenders & fries and they were good. We were there early so it was on the quiet side. They did crank up the music quite loud just as we were leaving (around 1:00). See cost in my above post.
  24. We did the 2 person package which was $75 for entrance fees, 2 chairs, an umbrella and 2 bottles of water. You don't have to rent chairs. Entrance only was $15/pp.
