Just a quick note, thank you for the Daily and good wishes to all. Have a house full of guests .... or it really just SEEMS that way when it's normally just the 2 of us in our little home and the in-house population doubles with the addition of my brother and sister in law! Headed to the airport in a few short hours for our flight to Seattle, and then onboard the NA tomorrow! Hoping everything goes well, and hopes and best wishes to everyone on the care list and celebration list. Probably won't be checking in after this, as we don't have the internet package and aren't bringing the computer. But will check back once we're home, probably around the end of the month, as we're spending 2 nights post-cruise with nieces and nephews in Oregon. Hey, we're so close, why not? Haven't seen them in over a year, so excited!
Best wishes to everyone!
Safe and healthy travels!

Good afternoon, and thanks for the Daily.
Roy, our best wishes on your scan today.
Thanks to all for sharing your memories of today's port.
From our visit to Halifax in 2017.
Sailing in past McNabs Island lighthouse
We strolled along the Harbourwalk and found an interesting view of the Zuiderdam
A highlight of the visit for Lori was meeting Merlin at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. We had checked his webcam for months before the trip. He can be very entertaining.
The museum has a very nice Titanic exhibit, but I found the memorial display to the Halifax explosion to be most poignant.
The Hope and Survival quilt and panels with the names of the 1946 victims in both English and Braille.
After returning to the ship we relaxed and watched as Zuiderdam led the way out.
As always, our prayers to those with a need, and congratulations to those with a cause.
Please stay safe and healthy and have a great afternoon!

Good morning, everyone.
The car is packed and I am ready to roll this morning. Hopefully I'll be early and miss most of the heavy traffic north in Michigan.
Today's meal is one I would probably enjoy, but need to steer clear of. The pasta is too carb heavy and the spinach is too high in oxalates which cause kidney stones. Three of those were three too many. But, I hope others can enjoy it. It does look really good.

Thank you all so much for the info and the spectacular photos. We aren’t going until June, 2022, but I love to plan and ponder the possibilities. I was trying to decide of the wilderness tour would be exhausting, based on the length, or if we’d have enough energy to also do an excursion in the evening. We’re thinking of the self driven Jeep tour.
Suppose that depends on what you're up for. As we recall there were 6 or 7 chances to get on and off of the bus at rest stops. So getting up early and getting up to the lodge, with 8 to 9 hours on an old school bus seat and the picture taking stops. By the time we made it back to the resort we were ready to sit down to a warm meal and then relax for awhile before going for an nice evening stroll along the river walk. But, if you're the energizer bunny, probably no biggie...😁

Marine traffic can't get a fix on them here. 😒

McKinley Chalet Resort is HAL's complex in Denali. It is situated on the Nenana River with a nice river walk and Denali Square is at it's center. Our Tundra tour was a bit damp, as it rained most of the time, but Denali Park is beautiful in any weather!
We also enjoyed the McKinley Explorer to Anchorage. It was a very pleasant ride and the views we had of Denali from the train made up for what we didn't see from the park.
We hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did!
