Has anyone had any recent experience with Your Egypt Tours? My husband and I will be on the Celebrity Apex this coming October with an overnight in Alexandria. We are thinking about using this tour company for an overnight in Cairo. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Right now it's between them and Ramses Tours. Price wise they are very similar, so looking for experiences that might tip the scales in either direction. Thank you!

Hello, I just called yesterday to inquire about the upgrade price with my select discount. I too am sailing on a 10 day in October. The Celebrity Rep quoted me $424.40 for both my self and my husband, so $212.20 additional per person. I told him I had to ponder this...I remember the days when my onboard credit completely covered this and then some. I'm thinking I may not upgrade as our cruise is very port intensive with an overnight in Alexandria. I may just pay for the upcharge per drink. It may come out significantly cheaper! Hope this helps!

Question, I’m wondering if I book an alcove in Grand Cayman would I get the alcohol and service listed on the advertisement 🤔 or would it be subject to the governmental laws in GC and would mean we have to venture down to pool bar??!?

I will be on the April 6th sailing and would love to stop at Puerto Plata! I hate tendering, didn't like the idea of the one bar, and have been to GC so many times... Is there anyone onboard the Equinox today in Grand Cayman who could comment about the modified drink service while in port? I am hoping this is not the new thing to close bars while in Grand Cayman port. We will be there in April and didn't plan to get off the ship, and was going to use my very expensive Premium Package all day. Any info would be much appreciated.

I did a quick internet search using that Competitive Bidding site for cruises (I literally didn't know what you were talking about) and found a site that will be my go to for now on!! I can't believe I had no clue this existed. I am bummed because I already did final payment for my upcoming ABC islands on Equinox in April and already transferred my booking for October 6 Apex to this other agent I literally can't stand. I wish I would have known about this sooner. Thank you for your knowledge

I wondered that question as well. I too had an amazing TA before COVID. He was always on the ball. He left during Covid and his clients went to this other guy who is absolutely HORRIBLE. I booked a cruise onboard and transferred the booking to him, he couldn’t be bothered. I then wanted to book another cruise for my anniversary and emailed to get pricing. He replied he was very busy and would get to me when he could! Ding ding ding, wrong answer! I quickly called and got another agent! I don’t really care for him either😒. No one in my circle uses a TA, so I don’t have any reliable recommendations.
