I agree, the certificates and the Veterans discount are great deals that Carnival doesn't offer. Also there have been times when even using a casino deal didn't save me much over NCL, I'm talking about maybe a $50- $100 savings and I would have had to sail on an older and smaller ship. The drink package on NCL really works out for us compared to Carnivals. We are not big drinkers, just want something basic no extras needed so paying over a $1000 for Carnivals is of no value to us. Free at Sea has been a great deal for me also, I really like things bundled and so far haven't noticed any astronomical price differences over Carnival for it not to be a great deal.

The small print says all the above perks you mentioned except an excursion.

That was a pretty quick debarkation, one of these days I'm bound to experience that lol. Your review set my mind at ease about smaller ship sailing and I really liked the unique decor. Also the the first time in a while the food in the MDR looked good, or you just know how to take a better pic than many😁 Safe travels home, today is one of those rare days in Texas when the weather is beautiful. It really did! I could eat this kind of Chinese everyday for lunch. I cant stand the wok steamed build your own bowl on other ships.

He was the guest of honor at a recent birthday party. It was really cool to feed him and interact with him, no holding him. There were various other critters also, so fun.

That's sad. Circle K now has a lava cake, pretty similar to the melting cake. It was very good and chock full of lava lol.

For some reason ribs have consistently been pretty bad on all the cruise lines I have sailed. MSC was the worse, I swear they poured a can of tomato sauce on them and called it bbq sauce lol.

So odd they didn't notice one was missing. I have seen the tour operators sometimes recount two or three times before taking off. Or when anyone is missing they get into a panic until they show up.

Well that's crappy. One time we waited almost half an hour for 3 missing passengers. They just strolled on laughing like it was funny that now our shopping time was cut short. Everyone on the bus booed them, that wiped the smirks off their faces.

I know I have been there once but for the the life of me can't remember anything about it. We always do excursions so we must have done something 🤔
