  1. This. I’m tracking the cost to see if it comes within range of other things we’re buying, I enjoyed it on our last cruise but wasn’t a must have. For the right price though..
  2. Yeah right now we’re looking at $1075 for a 6 night, I do love just not worrying about it though so expect I’ll pull the trigger. It’s just tough when I spent about that same amount for 4 people on my last cruise (5 night)
  3. Most beer 7.99, most mixed drinks $14 - then add the 18% gratuity.
  4. If mine goes to $54.99 I'm in, right now it's holding at $75.99 and the break even point doesn't seem likely without extra effort and I'm getting old enough I should not be enhancing my indulging 🙂
  5. I got it for $15.99 a day for my October cruise - keep watching it. Also it is in the Key if that price drops and/or can be bundled with some of the beverage packages if that is of interest.
  6. It likely hasn't changed - mine is showing the same price for a few days now, lowest it's been but not low enough for me yet to justify. The planner will always show the current price per day, so it may be the same. Mine is still showing the *one day only* BOGO1/2 2 days later but at $75.99pppd, I just can't justify it yet 🙂
  7. Ha, goals! I bought Voom for $15.99/day for an upcoming trip but am on the fence about the UBP since it's at $75.99/day BUT if you are looking at both, right now that combo is $88.99 coming out ahead of them individually. Only sharing in case those were already on your list. I'm holding out for a better price for the UBP but figured unless the Key drops a lot, I'd snag Voom just for me at the $15.99.
  8. I'm not your average drinker of any beverages but the UBP may still make sense for me if the price goes down. I say that because I don't drink juice or soda, or specialty coffees, or sugary drinks. I drink A LOT of water, and need more than ship water so I do buy a water package for the room but also use that in my calculation of "break even" for the UBP. My other vice on board is vodka waters (vodka and water) so in theory that should just cost what a shot is. So if the vodka waters are $10.99 and bottles of water $3.25 to plan on one bottle of water with every drink as a rough estimate (not for the drink but in addition to the drink - I dehydrate easily), with 18% gratuity, that's $16.80 so at the current $75.99 a day, break even is just over 5 drinks a day (5.34). That isn't hard to do between lounging at the pool or on the islands, and evenings, so it's tempting, but I just can't bring myself to do it yet. Husband is similar except his drinks are vodka/soda or juice so his break even would be lower. Right now though the refreshment package is $26.99 so that may better and just plan on paying for shots. We shall see where we end up!
  9. Yep same here - UBP is the same as the "one day only" Margarita Day sale but today the combined price with UBP and Vroom is $88.99 so that's better than the $75.99 UBP and $15.99 I got Vroom at BUT UBP is still too high for me to justify so I'll wait and see and worse case pay as I go...
  10. I'm so hopeful my October one will go down further than $75.99, I just can't justify it currently, at least I have time to monitor it!
  11. That's how it always seems to go but it's booked - enjoy this "bonus" that will be more than worth it for the memories!!!
  12. Did you actually put it in your cart? Ours was down to $75.99 a day/per person, but that IS the BOGOHO - so about $1075 with tax for 2 for our Oct 6 night.
  13. Yep I got excited when I saw B1G150 but then I remembered as always they base that off the inflated on board price, so while $75.99 is the best I've seen yet, I'm on the fence at $1075 for 2 for our 6 night. I love the convenience but not sure I love the convenience that much!
  14. This - I don't aim to make money, I just try not to really lose money, but the value in just not worrying about the costs while on a ship is great. I don't love the current price though so we'll see!
  15. Interesting, I'll be curious about this. I expect as always, it depends on ship/sailing on what additionally they are willing/able to do!
  16. Ha, no, you’re not! 🙂 I like the western Caribbean route but haven’t done the west coast of Mexico so would choose that since it likely wouldn’t be one I’d take again and most of our cruises hit either the east or west Caribbean route
  17. You are welcome to! We went back a few nights and even had my son (who we jokingly call the anti-vegan though he loves what I make and he and his friends all request my pecan pie lol) and his GF who weren't interested in going but when they saw my pics they came too and ordered the veggie sushi too and loved it!
  18. No, we just had the chips with quac, tomatoes, salsa, jalapenos, but they did load them up and they were really good! Yep I wish they had a vegan cheese option, mainly for the pizza but I roll with it on a cruise and enjoy the made for me veggie ones 🙂
  19. And thank you for the info on Coco Cay in your blog - loved all the pics too!
  20. Adding a photo of the veggie sushi we got at Izumi more than one night 🙂 We're hoping we can do this again on upcoming cruises that have Izumi.
  21. Thanks so much - I've been vegan since 2008 and sailed many a time and have never starved. Some cruises were awesome, some more sparse on food options but I'm looking forward to trying the new menus. I had awesome luck on our last cruise on Indy where we got amazing veggie sushi and had them do vegan nachos at playmakers. Were the onion rings vegan? They haven't been in the past but my husband will be thrilled if they now are!
