Sydney needs to learn a lesson, and soon too.
Well done Auckland,, don,t worry Sydney will sort itself out, but Melbourne never will. If its not connected to sport the projects don't make the cut.

The friend with the expensive Esky lives in Newcastle. Bought it from BCF.

And don't forget what it's done for overseas relations. After brexit the UK will negotiate a lucrative trade deal in pies, lol.
Well spotted Brian, glad to see you have survived that P&O UK Thread. Hope your not in Italy at the moment they take the World Cup as their property!. Will our "Hammers" survive?,should never have moved to that new ground....Cheers:)

Crikey Mic, I would want a few bottles of Bollinger Champers in it at point of sale for that price.:D Perhaps a big Lobster, couple of kilos of King Prawns and a couple of Spanner Crabs as well, plus the prescribed ice of course.
Only in Pollie City would you find a Gucci Ice Box,probably sells well Uncle Les, cost reclaimed on the old Expense account and a thank you to the Taxpayer.

Heck, since I'm currently living in a Muslim country, I'll take any style of bacon at all, as long as it's real.
You need 2 slices of Toast coated with Vegemite that will stop your craving for Bacon!

Four and a Twenty have reached agreement to sell pies to a US basketball team.
Heard that Mr Gut hope they don;t try and sell those 40 cent Tomato Sauce Squeeze Sachets with them. Not sure they can get Aldi Tomato sauce in the States. Boy is that P&O UK Thread on changes to take on booze policy heated. The Battle of Boozewell, how does that go 'a Gin a Gin my Cabin for a G&T." Apologies to the Bard.

It seems relevant to the topic, sorry to "hijack" the thread, but can someone confirm about the "original containers"?
DH takes a lot of meds. It will be very bulky to carry all of them in their original boxes.
Thanks, Dani
A letter listing your medication from your Doctor also helps if stopped at the Border.

Please explain what you mean. I haven't booked our hotel yet but plan to do so in the next day or two.
Sydney has a great Public Transport system,Rail, Bus, Light Rail, Ferries; and free Tourist Buses. So if your Hotel was in the area of say The Rocks,Circular Quay it would pay you to take the train from the Airport cost about $17AUD per person;as against a taxi $50 -100 AUD. OPT is within walking distance.,short walk to Ferry about $10 will take you to Darling Harbour for the Hard Rock....Taxis can send you broke in Sydney, hope this helps your planning and welcome to the land of Vegemite.

What hotel are you staying at we may be able to save you some cash?Do taxis take credit cards? We're planning to take one from the airport to our hotel, from our hotel to Hard Rock Cafe, and to the port on sailing day. We'd like to limit he amount of US money we convert to AU dollars -
Blessed are the cheese makers.:D
lol Bikus Dikus would like Pie and Thorse

Are you referring to Trammy McTramFace?
Alas,Sydney will never have Trams I think Nifty said that .We could have a new saying "Took of like a George St Tram"

Hello all,
Targeting Australian RCI cruisers here as I believe they change the price and exclusions for different regions and probably per ship.
Any one know if the $65 AUD being quoted right now is the regular price for the deluxe drink package or a discounted one?
Also
Any idea what the excluded (boo) Beers are? Never heard of this!
Thanks
SnakeDoctorF
If that is the price on your Cruise Planner it's a Sale Price and includes 18% grats. Normal price $87AUD, O/B $65USD
-
What about a name for the Light Rail that will thunder down George St. How does Thomas McTankFace stand up to Government thinking!

i usually sail on carnival because they have free ugraded showers bathrooms and a sauna on the spa deck..this is for all passengers to use and has nothing to do whatsoever with getting a spa pass which allows for use in the thermal suite and various steam rooms etc. it is a very nice perk for the general cruiser.
I am looking at videos of rci ships and i see something called a vitality spa. but it seems that all they mean is a place to get a massage or a facial etc.
Do the larger Rci ships have a complimentary shower, bathroom area for use by all guests? I just cant fathom not having a general locker room for guests with these amenities...thank you.
Yes they do and you don't need a pass, there complimentary.

We could have called the new ferry, Mr and Mrs GUT, what say ye? Bottle of $5.95 Eagle Hawk Australian Sparkling Wine at the launch, who need Moet? :halo: Or even Sir Benjo, or Anne Sherry, all legends in the cruise industry.
Excellent idea Catering to be done by Harry's Cafe de Wheels.! This Thread is out of control lol

My friend loves to snorkel and where to snorkel is obvious for Airlie Beach and Cairns. However my friend hates to miss an opportunity to snorkel whenever she is traveling. We will be going to the Darwin, Brisbane and Newcastle ports in Feb/March and I was wondering is there any snorkeling in these areas that are accessible on a shore excursion.
Thanks
Chris
She would be wise to give Darwin a miss as the Croc's love imported meat. Brisbane is a bit dodgy also no Croc's most of the time ,but the Noah's are a problem.

A thread here, off track, NEVER
Why not link it up to the Meat Pie Thread?

Spot on Mic, my daughter and son in law did the maiden Singapore to Hong Kong and said about 25% of the Casino was for Smoking. She said it was well policed and was not a problem if you kept you distance.
