It’s pretty obvious things won’t calm down in that region quickly.

So Glen ,Anthem will need more time to get around the bottom of Africa and where will they get that from?

They will have to drop a cruise or something to get more time.

One thing I have noticed about the 25-26 season,no ships go to Adelaide or Melbourne .

Thats Royal Caribbean ships,not Princess Geoff because this is a Royal Caribbean thread, LOL

A local big  cruise specialist has just overhauled its website and now lists Enchantment of the seas in its search engine for Australia.

Its got all of Anthems and Voyager but when you select Enchantment ?

I do not trust Royal will make accomodations for existing bookings if the cruise is changed. 

I ended booking the last cruise out of Ravenna though to Dubai.

A bit steep ,a single in a Promenade,21 nights $ A 8,200 .

I was going to book Ovations repo to Singapore and while trying to organise people it doubled in price. Cruises like that you have to get in early .

Sea ,is basic Junior suit with only ,coastal kitchen access only, no suite lounge.

Junior suite sky ,should give you full suite entitlement . Just like a grand suite or above.

These are decent typical Royal offerings on feature packed Royal ships. The disappointment for me is that it is just too typical, and the local office is a victim of not delivering on their aspirations. Over the past 10 years, the travel media bites have been:

- We will have a ship here year-round

- We are bringing an Oasis class ship (by 2020)

- A Perfect Day at Lelepa

Instead, we get the same stuff less a ship downgrade. I will poke through the dates and have a look at a shortie on Anthem. Apart from that, I am also on the sidelines awaiting some exciting news for 26/27.

Itineraries are the usual suspects and the prices are pretty obscene.

They are on Royal Caribbean website.

25-26 is now on sale but make sure you are sitting down with a defibrillator near by

I was thinking of flying into Frankfurt or something and a road or rail trip ending in Venice .Then the last Adriatic cruise that ends in Rome and b2b onto the repo.

I think I will go ahead with it ,Singapore airlines have a pretty good refund policy.

If they change the repo they would have to drop a cruise or two.

Im just wondering if it would be in the Mediterranean or Brisbane.

What do you think?
