  1. Hi CC folks! I was wondering if you can book more than one shore excursion for a single port. Some of the Caribbean ports will be beach type days for us and there seem to be some different excursions we might like to enjoy. For example, I see that I can do a snorkel rental, parasailing, maybe stand up paddle. Since these are all about one-hour activities, we may want to enjoy all three (sorry, is that greedy 😁?). In the PDF version of the excursions, it does have the excursion start times, so of course I would need to coordinate with that. And some, such as the sno
  2. Any suggestions on room service breakfast options? One of my favorite experiences on a cruise is staying in my robe and eating on the verandah. My cruise is a Caribbean over Xmas - much needed warm weather and beautiful views. Thanks you guys for your good tips!
  3. mj_holiday - Oh boy, my husband is going to love the pick up the phone and get coffee option. Fear is he may never want to leave the suite. Ha! Good tip! Thanks!
  4. Thank you 1982CruzStart! Your info is exactly what I’m looking for. I’ve heard great things about the lobster tempura and the steak tartare. I so appreciate you taking the time to post a detailed response. Getting more excited by the minute!
  5. Hello RSS community! I just booked a Caribbean Holiday sailing on Splendor for end of 2021. Our first RSS cruise, but have been on Celebrity and Oceania. Although I realize Splendor was not able to sail this year due to COVID, those who have sailed other RSS ships can weigh in. In my desire to enjoy planning as we lead into the next year (I’m calling it “cruise porn,” sorry for the cheesy reference, but necessary after being home for almost a year), I was wondering if the CC community had recommendations on favorite dishes and experiences on their past cruises on RSS.
  6. Thank you all! This has been super helpful. Haha I don’t even own a ball gown ... a little sarcasm there [emoji12] I am feeling good about my packing list and am grateful to have a forum community willing to take the time to weigh in. The Venture looks amazing - I am excited! PS - Hysterically funny on the costume crowd. Definitely not me or DH - we are just excited to dress appropriately for the cruise and adventure, and see Antarctica! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  7. I recently booked Seabourn Venture (new ship launching in 2021) for an Antarctica cruise. I have read a lot about what to pack for the zodiac excursions, but what do people wear between zodiac excursions? For example, if there are two zodiac excursions per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, do people stay in their expedition gear all day? Or do they change into street clothes then change back? Many people have advised to wear a thermal layer then a waterproof layer for the zodiac excursions. Are sweats appropriate to wear over your thermals while on ship, or do
