  1. Bit of an update. I've just downloaded the new Princess app and set it up with my cruise details. On the front page, to the bottom right, there is a section marked 'profile'. I clicked on that and amongst the many sections it brings up was one called 'package'. I clicked on that and it listed all the items included within the premier package, including the missing ones. I suspect(hope!) this means that the full premier package is on my account, but it does not say words to the effect 'this is the package you have got', though I think that is the intention.
  2. I think you are right, it is just an error on their system. I've just done a dummy booking and when you get to the page that asks what fare you want, standard, plus or premier, all 3 items are shown as included in the premier offer. Wish Princess were a bit more on the ball.
  3. Just booked a cruise on Sky and took advantage of the current offer in the UK of Premier for the price of Plus. Looking at my booking online on my Princess account it shows everything expected included but there is no mention of 'unlimited casual meals', 'oceannow delivery' or 'room service delivery'. Is this just a mistake or is the UK promotion for a lesser product. Anyone in the UK who has booked any idea?.
  4. Nationwide are making some major changes to their travel insurance from May 1st. The insurer is changing to Aviva and amongst the changes are: 1) At present you can buy an extension to increase your cancellation cover to £20000 but from May 1st the maximum you can increase it to will be reduced to £10000, so possibly this will have an impact on longer cruises. 2) At present you can buy a cruise cover extension for the year that covers things like missed port cover. From May 1st you must buy the extension for each cruise that you do. There are several other changes and people are reporting that they are starting to receive emails from Nationwide. I cannot post a direct link but if you do a search for 'Nationwide FlexPlus Travel Provider Change ' it should bring up the relative links.
  5. Jim, What can I say. Thank you so much for this reply which is everything I could have asked for---perfect.
  6. I shall be booking a cruise on this ship soon. One of the options is to pay extra for the premium drinks package rather than the standard one included. So that we can make a choice can anyone post a copy of the onboard drinks menus or point me towards where I might find them. Thanks
  7. Thanks for clarifying. Looking forward to hearing how your meals in there go.
  8. Selbourne, I know you will be visiting Epicurean on your cruise. My wife and I are on for two weeks in a few weeks time and I'm trying to find out if, on an Iona 2 week cruise, they have one or two menus that they use. The P&O site only shows one menu but I'm sure I've heard in the past that they have two that they alternate. If it is 2 different menus presumably there is no way of knowing beforehand if you want to book before you board. Thank You
  9. Just to add to my original post. I've logged in to personaliser this morning and the advert for 15% off is still there but the wording saying it is ending 31/10/23 has gone. Make of that what you will.
  10. Just noticed when I logged into Cruise Personaliser that the message about 15% discount for the internet packages now says 'offer ends October 31st'. Have to say we had the package on the recent 30 day Aurora cruise and found the basic package to be good, including in the middle of the Atlantic. The signal in the cabin was not always the best, but was acceptable, but the signal around the ship in passenger areas was usually very good.
  11. As both Arvia and Britannia are in the Caribbean while you are there I think it likely that guest entertainers on those ships will also pop up on your cruise at some point.
  12. Have I seen this correctly---both Ventura AND Iona doing 35 nights to Caribbean in Jan 26. That's a lot of cabins to fill.
  13. Many thanks Pink15. From what I am seeing the excursion prices are very reasonable.
  14. Thanks very much----gives me an idea of prices.
  15. We are thinking of doing one of the 14 day cruises in the Far East this coming Jan/Feb. Having never been to this part of the world before we would want to do an excursion at each stop, so around 11/12 excursions in total. Can someone give me an idea of how much excursions might be here with Marella. Thanks
  16. I am on Aurora now and got 20% off for our pre booked meal.
  17. Currently on Aurora and there are around 25 or so at the art class in crows nest each sea day.
  18. On at the moment and we have just docked in Boston. We are staying in Boston Saturday but in a different commercial area for safety with nobody allowed ashore from 7pm friday. Ship will sail 6am Sunday morning missing Newport and arriving on schedule in New York on Monday morning for 3 days.
  19. Thank you Pete and Winifred, that's cheered me up👍
  20. I may have the answer from someone who replied on a forum They were told that a cabin such as this is held back for entertainers/senior staff. A guess is that this particular one is being held back on an ongoing basis and will then, if not required, be given to saver bookings.
  21. Yes, it does appear on the deck plan but if you try to book any future cruise on Aurora, when you get to the 'choose your cabin' under the select fare, cabin C184 on deck 9 does not show on the deck plan, just a white space with no number on it. This applies to any future cruise on Aurora---it's as if P&O are no longer selling this particular cabin and I'm wondering why.
  22. We booked an early saver for a GA grade midship cabin and have just been allocated C184. I've looked at a deck plan for Aurora and the cabin is shown as the last GA midship cabin before mid-forward starts. However, if you try to make a booking for any future Aurora cruise up to 2025, if you do a select booking and then go to choose my cabin, you will see on the map for deck 9 that there is no C184 showing. In its place is an unnumbered white space. I have no idea what this means. I tried to phone P&O but there was a 60 minute wait. Anyone any idea as to why this cabin does not seem to exist or be bookable on any future cruise?.
