  1. I've been looking at doing that- is it safe to do solo? (Also the bear thing? πŸ˜‰)
  2. Sorry, I didn't mean to post my list in your thread - I thought I was posting in the group for the sailing πŸ™„ (yes, I need a vacation...) I would still like to hear about the truffles, though 😁
  3. Wait, what - huckleberry truffles?? Where, when, how? My list: 1. Naps 2. At least 2 Aperol Spritz every day (can on odd days be exchanged for mojitos or g&t's) 3. Stare out at water and views cocooned in the spa, completely forgetting my book (kindle) 4. Hopefully find the energi to meet as many nice people as I usually do πŸ™‚ 5. Buy weird candy for my kids 6. Eat crepes and nutella creme brulee - missed that last cruise! 7. Spot a lot of wildlife, except: 8. NOT to see a bear! 9. Find the courage to do the trams 10. Renew my energi for coming back home πŸ™‚
  4. I really hope to bump into you on board or in the spa πŸ™‚ I too love to read - and sadly, I also have an ailing parent ( I REALLY need this vacation, so I may end up not being that sociable...). Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading more, whether or not I manage to meet you.
  5. I've often thought the same about the cabin stewards πŸ˜‰
  6. I don't know if you're familiar with the spas on the ships? If so, please disregard. It's just that honestly, my older teens would be bored to tears in the ship spa - but people are different πŸ™‚
  7. Sry, that was supposed to be TEN pct. πŸ˜…
  8. No, but I have a coupon for 1 pct off any cruise in 2024. I'd gladly trade you πŸ˜„
  9. On my Panama canal cruise in December they had a little something in the front if the ship. Definitely water and tge watery juice and also the brown stuff they claim is coffee (it's not - it really can't be), and also some small munchies. And, ehm, I went in my yoga pants and a tshirt. Noone cared πŸ˜„
  10. For what it's worth: last cruise I traveled with a friend in separate cabins. The first to arrive in a bar would often get the other a drink. I don't recall any of us being asked to show our own card once we arrived and started drinking it. However, they may have assumed we were sharing a cabin and thus both had the drink package. (Which we did, btw).
  11. Would it be possible to go there just for a dessert - maybe sitting at the bar? I'll be on the Joy if that matters.
  12. Yeah, I'm not gonna move either. At least until I need a restroom πŸ˜†
  13. Thank you, it sounds perfect - I prefer shade as well πŸ˜€
  14. I'd love to hear where you found other quiet areas to read, please?
  15. I second this. Classes are $20 and you can find the schedule for the week in the gym.
  16. I'm strongly considering booking and poring over deck plans and availability πŸ˜‰ There's an old thread here, where someone thought they booked an angled balcony, but the deck plan was misleading. So if anyone had a angled balcony- would you provide the number? Also, it seems that the very last balcony on either side may be larger? Thank you πŸ™‚
  17. That's what I did last May.
  18. That's pretty much what I'm thinking also.
  19. I have tried, but thank you 😊
  20. Perfect - just the kind of advice I was hoping for!
  21. Did anyone do it and/or know of NCL-"rules"/guidelines for booking 2 tours in the same day? It's possible to book it, but there's only a half hour between the tours. I'm thinking I would need to get back onboard in order to meet up with the group for the next excursion - right?
