Completely agree, the hounding for a 10 is BS and if we did have any issue that I thought needed correcting, I would politely bring it to their attention on the ship. I've quit filling out the survey for cruises and any other service I paid for.
it was on I believe the 10th or 11th day of our 11 night cruise (Sea Day). Capt. Kate didn't deflect the question, all questions are written down and put in a box. The cruise directory then picked out questions for the Captain
Just off Beyond on 12th in SS 9161 and its creaked and popped and banged most nights. Some was when the mini frig turned off and the metal expansion but this room was terrible for noise. I did pose the question to Capt. Kate in the Q&A session but my question was not selected by the Cruise Director
Wife and I just got off Beyond on the 12th. Loved everything about the ship, entertainment and food. Especially loved Rooftop Grill and Luminae. Only negative was our room creaked and popped and the final day of everyone asking for a 10 in the survey. Not a nine but please 10.
It's defiantly making me re-evaluate the extra gratuities (tip tip hooray) we give at the end. My wife and I are very easy and do not ask for much and always leave the auto grats on. But now we are at least discussing what constitutes (for us) an additional tip on top?
Water purchased pre-cruise is standard bottled (plastic) water. Not sure of the brand but it is not Evian. We did have a one glass liter bottle of Evian in our room but we were in a suite .
The problem is when we have breakfast lunch and dinner in CK along with some wine or beer in the afternoon there is a lot of coastal kitchen $0.00 per day ... cannot tell what they are for specifically
None that I'm aware of. I have "heard" that if over a certain number on a cruise access to CK is either limited or not allowed and other arrangements are made. We just got back from Allure and P's (40) were allowed in CK for all meals
