  1. The other issue most are unaware of is the people you talk to are not in a call center if old days where everyone has the same information. Most are home based and in countries around the world and don't have "supervisors" in the room to reach out to. It makes it much easier to get incorrect information they will swear is correct.
  2. The calendar above says she's there July 4th. We'll know soon enough if that really happens.
  3. It's not that they weren't allowed to get off the ship there. The ship NEVER WENT THERE. They overnighted in Akueyri instead.
  4. Thanks Chilly! Hoping July 25 stays on the schedule.
  5. What's the latest? Still canceled or is the dredging finished? And for those sailing to Reykjavik what time are you arriving if it's still an altered itinerary? Thanks
  6. I'm honestly not sure that's an improvement for some folks.
  7. Makes sense. And there going to have a lot more trouble getting them when talent feels their shows and contracts can be canceled without notice like they did to Kinky Boots
  8. True but they lost a lot of good will during that. I know several people that have left ships and won't go back.
  9. Such a said state of affairs for casts & crews that want to spend their careers on the seas. Fewer and fewer options. Glad I did it in the early 2000's but also glad I'm done with ships.
  10. Especially after Covid when they were not allowed off the ship ports for weeks at a time!! Travel is no longer a benefit of the job if you can't see anything!!
  11. The problem, most likely, is you are dealing with a customer service representative in the US or even Philipines who has no idea what the UK laws are. You'll need to put them all in writing with all documentation and send to Miami Corporate offices and demand redress.
  12. We have a very active Facebook group as well
  13. You are seeing "from" prices. They can change once booked which I actually did do.
  14. It was $79 for 2 (just as I said $58 for 2 with Viator)
  15. It was $79 to book direct. Viator is all over and extremely reliable.
  16. I am sure, but we won't be competing with 3,000 people all at the same time to depart the airport
  17. Ah!! So they are discounts, not add-ons. Thank you.
  18. Luckily the day we leave there are only 3 very small exploration ships in port so we won't be competing with 3,000 other passengers. Should make it better.
  19. I want to buy the Anne Frank tickets WITH introduction and that is clear on the website. But there are several "add-ons" that are not explained on the website (VIP etc). Can someone help me with what those mean? Thanks
  20. We used Viator to book Reykjavik Excursions to take a shuttle from City Center to the airport for $58 for 2 people. Takes 45min-1 hour
  21. We are staying post-cruise a few days in Reykjavik. Looking at booking FlyBus from City Center to the airport but not sure what time we should book for a 9:30am flight. Any suggestions? Thanks
  22. I apologize for yet another post on the topic...but I have read the others and still need advice. We are staying in Shepherds Bush a few days precruise. Deciding if it's better to do National Express bus from Victoria Station or a shared shuttle? We do not want to spend hundreds when the bus seems fine at less than $50....any input is appreciated
