  1. FINE PRINT MATTERS.....However in certain ports of call which will be specified ONBOARD (in other words stop emailing and calling us as we don't know).....so they are not explaining which ports or why you may or may NOT get served even with the Plus package.
  2. People are assuming NCL has given accurate information to Guest Services. As a former crew member of several lines I can tell you there is often a complete disconnect from shoreside and ship crew.
  3. Can't wait to hear the lies they tell you! (yes, crew lie to guests.....SHOCK!)
  4. Time to bring the little airline bottles on!!! And NCL allows wine & champagne but if you have the drink package you are paying to bring something on you already paid for!!! There are so many things wrong with this policy it has to be corrected very soon!
  5. Also, if I paid for the drink package even if NCL allows wine & champagne to be brought onboard why should I be FORCED to pay in port prices on wine I have already paid for on my package??? NCL is now forcing me to pay twice for a bottle of wine or champagne I already paid to enjoy.
  6. To everyone saying "just stock up before your dry port" fail to see we are EMBARKING in the dry port and can't bring on alcohol!!! Some of you really need to think.
  7. As there is talk there is no alcohol being served on NCL in port until they sail would it be possible to check-in and leave our luggage then head back to central city to explore, have lunch, cocktails etc before all-aboard? We plan on taking a train from London the morning of the sailing then cab to the ship.
  8. This would not be feasible for those with the drink packages. Yes, if you have the regular drink package anything up to $15 is included, but if you have the Plus package EVERYTHING is included so that wouldn't work.
  9. According to the NEW Drink Menus Pommery Rose is now the ONLY Champagne available.
  10. Well, it has been removed from the Drink Packages menu for sure. Not sure if you will be able to only buy it through amenities department now or not.
  11. The nice thing about having the PLUS package is I can order and taste anything and if I don't like it order something else. This way I can avoid all the tasting classes...lol
  12. Well we love Irish Coffees so I'll try some high-end whiskies in them. They also have a bar that makes cocktails from "kitchen leftovers" on Prima I am really looking forward to
  13. We go in July on Prima so maybe there is time they "correct" some of these choices. But the PLUS is still worth it to us with the additional internet, specialty dining and excursion discounts. Will I miss Vueve? YOU BET! But there's still plenty of other boozy options......maybe I'll discover a new fave!
  14. Wonder what Pinnacle Level he is to walk away?? Suite guest?
  15. It sometimes helps to realize a new post addressing the same topic doesn't have the same theme thereby deserving a new thread. My topic isn't the attack, it's the poor response from RCCL to the artist.
  16. I did do a search....it didn't come up.....thanks for your "helpful" responses
  17. I hope RCCL does the right thing and stands by this entertainer who was violently attacked during his show and so far nothing has been done. Check the link out for video and more info. https://www.queerty.com/watch-jealous-man-attacks-gay-magician-for-getting-too-close-to-his-female-partner-20230323
  18. Thermal suite is package for 11 days is $349 which is only $31 a day...but as we only have 2 sea days and are doing excursions in most ports would I really ever get the time to enjoy the suite before dinner??? Deciding if it's worth it or just trying for a day pass onboard. REALLY REALLY want to hear from people that have done this specific itinerary. We will be in July if that matters.
  19. I'm sorry...I disagree (and as a former crew member as well as paying guest). First off, I hate that any venue on any ship requires guests to stand in line wasting 90 min-2 hours of their precious vacation time just to get in....but that is another discussion. There is NO REASON 6 people need to stand in line blocking passageways and all being miserable when one person of the group is willing to do so (Personally I will never stand in line that long so you won't see me there....rather be enjoying the rest of the ship). The person waiting for the group should obviously tell those behind them there will be additional people joining before the doors open (I would NEVER suggest they save chairs inside once seated). You say "it's not a written policy"....but saving deck chairs for those not there beyond 30-60 min IS a written policy so my comparison is valid. If it's not written than YOUR interpretation is just that. And no more valid or invalid than mine.
  20. Spending several days in London before our cruise to Iceland....in order to save on packing I could wear all my shirts in London then send them to be washed and pressed (not dry cleaned) on Prima when we board. What are the rates for sending laundry out and what is the turn-around time? And if you used it were you happy?
  21. Great response. Thank you. So now my question is what (or who) stops 1 person from standing I in line for multiple guests? If everyone is in line 90 minutes that is lots of food, drink, jewelry, etc sales they are losing out on
  22. And not going at you personally...just questioning the reasoning
