  1. lol I just did a Mardi Gras cruise and it was far better than the Tampa bay one. People were generally nicer and even when the martini bar was busy you could still have a conversation. But I won't be doing a short cruise again, needs to be at least a week.
  2. Agreed I found out on here, by then too late. Then on board found a second large group, they however were more quieter - you wouldn't have known they were there
  3. I did summit last year where the Tampa Bay fans were on board, it was a horrible experience.
  4. My chrome is fine, but as Pushka says delete cache and cookies and try again.
  5. That's what happened here, I'm around Windsor ON area. The sky looked just dark with some grey but once you took pictures there were some colours. However friends who normally get the Northern lights in Alberta they had some really impressive colours showing for them.
  6. lol when I was on constellation, someone asked concierge where she got her designer shoes from. The reply was 'Turkey, real leather but everything else is fake' 😆
  7. No problem. Weather is a tricky one, I work for a weather station and yeah I can see things have got warmer with climate change but also still unpredictable. NO was the weird one, it wasn't so bad when the sun came out but the hours outside in the shade was cold - and I am in Canada and thought it was cold. There were people who came without any winter gear so were freezing. Better to have extra clothes than not enough
  8. I'm actually surprised there is not more for Eurovision when it's so popular. I get its an American ship but its sailing in Europe with a lot of Europeans, just like with my cruise I had to have Superbowl because it was popular and we were in the US (not popular with me I did everything to avoid it like the plague 🙃).
  9. In Greece went to a winery, came back with two bottles and it was clear it was wine in a holder, scanned and I mentioned it and was just nodded on. Feb went to duty free in Mexico, came back and told security I had alcohol, they let me take it to my room. Only one they held until last night was the one I bought on the ship
  10. Last year Europe 2025 was announced Nov/Dec time so would expect the same for this year.
  11. Weather was hit and miss. New orleans I wore clothes I was wearing in Canada because I was freezing - so I'd pack layers, especially as for Mardi Gras you are sitting outside for hours. It was pretty windy most of the cruise so the ship was swaying quite a bit, even house keeping I was talking to had said the cruise before it hadn't been that warm. Honduras, was hot and humid - I think it was in the 90s Belize was damp, we arrived just after a storm so you could feel it in the air the coolness. I wore long pants (these, they are pretty light but I wouldn't have done shorts). I also had like a tank top and a rash guard long sleeve top on. Others had made comments that I was smart because they were cold - I also had read the excursion details were it said wear long pants because of the boat ride I guess - maybe also bugs a bunch of people got mosquito bites, Mexico was warmer but I don't know if it was warm enough for the beach. I remember some excursions being cancelled but can't remember if it was just Belize or Belize and Mexico. So I purchased when OBC was included so being solo it racked up quite a bit. All of my excursions were through the ship, some countries I'm ok being solo but not these I rather stay with the ship. Honduras - Experience Roatan's Fauna Belize - Lamanai Mayan Ruins and Riverboat Safari (this one is a LONG day, first you had to take a tender to shore, then a hour or more bus ride, then a river boat to the ruins. So same coming back, but when coming back a second storm was rolling in so the tender ride was bumpy and difficult for some people to get off - mainly those with mobility issues) Mexico - I didn't do one as mine was cancelled night before so didn't have time to plan something else.
  12. Mine did that too, its back down. I did notice the martini flight went from about $50ish CA to about $72 Also there is some premium wine tasting for a small price of $258 😆
  13. Sorry piggy backing off of this as I need to book a train coming back from Southampton to London - cruise is coming from Norway and time listed is 7am. I know they have to clear before letting people disembark but what's a safe time to book a train for? Last time I did it I booked the cruise a couple of weeks out so didn't have time to plan and if possible would rather save money with tickets. I remember it being quick getting off the ship and quick to the station.
  14. yeah I go to log in and mostly it just takes me back to the login page - one time it worked but logged me out once I clicked on the cruise itself
