  1. Airdale, That's great that you have had some experience driving one. A few reminders, your scooter will be much faster and more responsive than the store scooter. Also a 3 wheel is more agile (turning tight corners) than a 4 wheeler but they are more unstable on inclines. Have a great trip and let us all know how it went.
  2. Is this your first time ever using a scooter? If so you need to practice using one. It's not as easy as just getting on and riding away. You will run into and over people. We always wait for the elevator to fill then get in front of the door to be "next on". As stated before 99% of the people are GREAT, It's that less than 1% that you'll remember. Have a great cruise. (note I've been on 4 cruises with my scooter)
  3. I know I can call Princess, but you all are so much more fun. Booking a mini suite on Emerald Princess cabin D304 in class M1. Wondering if this is club class?
  4. Scooters must be kept in the cabin. You cannot tender with a scooter. the scooter must be 22 inches or less to fit through the cabin door. hopefully you have an accessible cabin. I Have been using a scooter for over 10 years on cruise ships (Princess and Holland America) I've never seen a scooter in the hallways, never been allowed to use a tender, and have always had and accessible cabin.
  5. .My wife and I would like to take our family (2 sets of parents and 6 kids) on a cruise to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Our grandchildren ages are or will be 16, 15, 14 (2), 12 and 9. We are thinking of an Alaskan trip in the summer or Caribbean trip at Christmas. We have always been on Holland America or Princess (our age group) so I know we need to look at a much younger demographic for the grand kids sake as well as their parents. Would like to get cabins that are adjoined for the families of course one for us. Those of you that have made a trip like this, would you please give us some insights. Thank you
