  1. 12-DAY ON NORWEGIAN DAWN South Africa: South Africa & MadagascarfromCape Town, South Africa NOV 24. is this still scheduled? i can see it on NCL website but shoreexcursions isnt showing any excursions for it, nor are other sites. A little confused.
  2. Thank you. I could have sworn it wasn't there this morning but I was exhausted so must have missed it. Thanks again
  3. There was a cruise at beginning of March on the Sun from Bali to Singapore in 2025. I can't seem to see that now on NCL UK. Has that been cancelled too?
  4. I am not an expert but if you feel there is a legal infringement, report it as that is the only way things will change
  5. They brought it up to me. An NCL PCC. They said a lot of customers from the UK remove them on day 1 and they get envelopes to tip along the way. I was intrigued as to why UK customers only do this but I didn't probe it. Honestly, yes I would save money. The DSC is £435 I believe for 2 adults and a child for an 11 day cruise (the same cruise length we did in May). With the additional tips we provided it was effectively another cruise fare we paid on top.
  6. to remove the DSC upfront, day 1, are the rules for those from the UK and those from elsewhere different? I cruised in May, I had prepaid the DSC's, and tipped as we went along too. I ask, as I was surprised to receive a call a few days ago, and the TA actually promoted to me not paying the DSC, and said remove them on day 1 as I am from the UK, and continue to tip as you go along and you will save money. Is this feasible? I have searched the forums but there is so much different information.
  7. I have been following NCL Caribbean cruise here in the UK price wise for a few months. Despite lots of different promotions over that time frame, the end price had always been exactly the same.
  8. Sorry to hear that but it doesn't surprise me about the cruise consultants.
  9. Excuse my ignorance but why is the UK different please?
  10. The removal of quality shows will certainly make me look elsewhere too
  11. I was on the Joy in April. I couldn't get in on the first night as it was too busy. Second night we went back and we were sat at the back and didn't see anyone walk out. It was very well received.
  12. Thank you. It mentions the itinerary change but then it goes like my attached image
  13. I don't suppose anyone has noticed an error on the NCL site? Went in to look for additional booking in December 1st cruise on the Sky from Miami, tried numerous devices here in the UK and it alters the dates to January to November only? Worried something amiss with the cruise
  14. I really hope this isn't a stupid question but I'm just unsure if anyone could kindly help...if I order an Amaretto at 13 USD, AND a Coke with it as a mixer that will go over the 15 USD. Does that mean I pay the difference with the limit being 15 USD on the package? Or is it free being a mixer? Thank you.
  15. I don't understand when it is changed from a 12 day to an 11 day cruise, the Port Fees and taxes stay exactly the same. I've had it confirmed with them the fees remain the same even though one port less. It seems unjust.
  16. 11 day cruise now showing on NCL site. Not looked at the price difference in depth but it is now available to book again. It took over 3 weeks to be updated
  17. Thank you for the post. Does that mean that we will get less speciality meals? Is that confirmed? The 10% discount I really feel doesn't cut it. How did you complain sorry? I know someone posted it happens a lot more than you realise, but it doesn't make it morally right at all and is all about maximising shareholder revenue.
  18. I'm worried it will be fully cancelled so I can just hope the website updates soon showing it back on the market to book
  19. This still doesn't show on the NCL UK website. Please excuse perhaps a silly question, but how do you know it is fully booked?
  20. Just noticed the other Joy sailing in April to Curaçao, Limon and Great Stirrup Cay amongst others in April 23 isn't showing on the NCL UK website too.
  21. On the Joy on 30th April but now revised to 1st May. Limon was on this. New itinerary still not on NCL website though. Don't want to lose Cayman and Limon
  22. Of course. But each time it happens to you as an individual, it leaves sour grapes and then increases the chances of trying a different liner who at that point won't have done it to you
