    Our transfer was to the train station and we left at exactly 7:30.

    When we were on Brilliance it listed 7, but if you can’t even get off until 7, that wouldn’t work. We were on the first and second cruise starting out of Ravenna for the season, so hopefully things have improved. Hopefully, someone that just completed it in the last couple of weeks will have more current information for you.

    We just returned from Ravenna to the states at the end of May. The ship shuttles run every 1/2 hour, starting at 7. There isn’t much to see or do in Ravenna and I was thankful we only had 1 night there. We flew into the Bologna airport, but we didn’t leave from there. Enjoy your trip! We sure did!

    We have stayed in 3 different hotels and they have all had shuttles from the airport to the hotel. It is just a quick Uber ride to the port, which the cost has been no more than $30 each time.

    We live in Oregon, so almost all ports are far for us. We enjoy the Cape Liberty port, 6 hour flight for us, lots of hotels close by and easy access to the port.

    Of course it is! We have been on Ovation, Anthem, and Odyssey. We will be on Quantum in August. The only main difference is the sky pad that only the Odyssey has in this class and the vie that is completely open on the Odyssey, but not on the others. Those are the only differences that I noticed.

    We love the Quantum class the best. Bumper cars, ifly, 270 and the Schooner Bar is our favorite.

    We cruised on Ovation 4 times last fall. Each side was able to see the glacier each week. The captain did a good job making sure each side had a nice view. Do not book deck 13, it has an overhang which blocks some of your views.we did deck 13, 12 & 10 and liked them all except for 13.

    Exactly! I have been Loyal to Royal since 2000 and I just joined cruise critic last year. Posting isn’t my thing.

    I am not sure why you think that if you take an Alaska cruise you are more likely to get COVID? We have been on 4 Alaska cruises along with 6 other cruises and we have never had COVID. I believe that COVID is on all cruise ships and we are hearing more about Alaska due to cruises starting up again there in May.

    Good for you! Sometimes we cruise for the itinerary and sometimes for the ship. Alaska is amazing!

    We cruised on Ovation B4B last year and loved every minute of it! Glad that you enjoyed yours also.

    Enjoy your Alaska cruise! We did 4 of them last year on the Ovation and this year we are looking forward to doing a B2B on Quantum.😀

    Santorini only has 1 cable car area. We have been there twice. There are a lot of cable cars, but each car holds at the max 6 people.

    We are cruising out of LA this year and last year we did Ovation out of Seattle. We love to cruise in October. 😀

    It’s located between Wonderland and the Schooner. It is not a teppanyaki style place and when you walk to the Schooner you basically walk through most of it.

    That is really sad. We also have enjoyed CK on other ships, we had a great experience recently on the Anthem.

    I would test with emed for my Carnival cruise. If it was a cruise with Celebrity, Royal would have tested you.
