I agree with you, it is a long commute to Venice airport, 11:30 is too early. We just did this May 29th. We also took the Royal shuttle and took the train to Venice. The first shuttle left at 7 and we didn’t get to Venice until 1PM taking the train. We wanted to visit Venice for a couple of days so it worked for us, but I wouldn’t book a flight that early.

It has varied for us. Sometimes it never happens and other times it takes around 7 days. Don’t worry about it, just bring your vaccination card with you to show at the checkin area. 😀 Enjoy your cruise!

Our last checkin for the Quantum that is on 8-22, you enter the 2nd dose date and then it asked for our booster information.

Everyone has to submit a brokerage statement to receive the shareholder OBC. The best part is that you can submit all of your cruises at once with 1 statement attached.

I read that on the website, but I was able to get a lower prices on 3 cruises that depart after 9-30-22. November, December of 22 and also May of 2023. I just did it yesterday.

I just always do a dummy booking in the same room category and check what the price would be. We have 20 cruises on the books right now and I make sure to check them twice a month.

They will match the price. I just repriced 3 of my cruises yesterday and had no problems doing it. We saved a total of $800!

We have had 3 separate B2B’s in the last year and we have always been invited to a lunch.

We fly SW a lot. The main reason is we get 2 free bags each and we can cancel our flight, or change it and pay the difference with no issues.

Hopefully, someone that has been in this situation can comment. We have cruised several times, but we have stayed healthy. People have posted about disembarking early and renting a car to get home. Others have quarantined in hotels before taking their flights home.

You can rent a car and drive yourselves without any issues. Also, they don’t ask for you flight information anymore when you check in for cruises.

We download 2 photos from each cruise and have never had any issues with getting them printed out.

We are used to fluctuations on flying. Sometimes we can fly for $200 to Newark and sometimes it is $400. This has been part of our last 10 cruises in the last year. We have all of our flights booked for cruises(which is 8 flights) through February and we have some great deals on some and some not so great deals on others. We paid $550 to fly to Nassau June ‘21, but we wanted to cruise. We just paid $1000 to fly home from Venice the end of May.

That is so scary. I hope that she is feeling better.

Also make sure that you double check that the benefit has been added. We have had some fall off of our bookings, due to Royal changing some of the cruises that we had booked on the Navigator and Anthem.

We did this cruise 4 times last year on the Ovation and we will be on the Quantum B2B starting August 22nd. For us it is a personal choice, we love to cruise, the ship is amazing and we know that we will have a great time. Missing the glacier will be a shame, but we have already been there recently so it won’t bother us. The glacier is great, but the ports are really fun too. We saw eagles and whales. We went on a hike in the rainforest and it was just beautiful. We might miss the glacier, but we might not. I don’t think anyone knows at this point. If you do decide to just tour Seattle and Oregon make sure that you do the Oregon Gorge!

We always have to fly to all of our cruises, except for Seattle. I guess we are used to it, it has always been part of cruising for us.🤷‍♀️

I am sure that my DH also had COVID in May. We were on 3 cruises and he tested a total of 6 times and all negative. He still doesn’t have his sense of taste back. Hmmmm

What ship were you on? I am hoping we get our tote bags and towels too!

We didn’t have good luck with KLM, they cancelled our flight in May.
