  1. UntitledDanceShowPartyThing is different, but only one section about ten minutes maximum encourages spectators to join in doing the Macarena and Hokey Cokey type group dances. The other 40 minutes or so is watching the very talented dancers (and singer). The opening warm-upnumber is a bit strange but there are plenty of great moments and it always manages to make me cry!
  2. I agree, the OP mentioned not being up for interaction, but the major shows on Scarlet Lady don’t really involve it, Duel Reality is just a fantastic circus show.
  3. Probably yes. Ive not done it but its just the artist, canvas, paints and sparkling wine.
  4. that will be the deep blue one.
  5. Resilient Lady is already in the UK until late September 2024. There is no point them keeping the ship there and then cancelling the repositioning to Barcelona and onward to Athens (which is a sold out cruise). The UK weather isn’t great in November and the VV ships aren’t designed for cooler temperatures.
  6. I would always make a dinner reservation for each night and then change or cancel if needed, better to have the option. For shows the dinner show will fill up quicker as it is smaller capacity so book that. but the main thing to get booking quickly if you see availability for something you want to do is fitness classes, some hold as few as eight people.
  7. They don’t have flavoured water drinks like that only standard sparkling water. There are two carafes in your cabin, as standard these are still filtered water but ask your attendant and they can fill one or both with sparkling. In restaurants you’ll always get offered still or sparkling water.
  8. Scarlet night is almost always the night before the last sea day, I’ve not known them do a cruise without one.
  9. Does anyone know which ship this is on?
  10. That’s a nice addition, even if none of the cocktails are quite to my taste. Bit surprising there are no mocktail or premium non-alcoholic options though.
  11. There has been in the past, we used lock it in last year for both Athens and Barcelona, however the availability seems to be hit and miss.
  12. Assuming the length of the cruise is the same then the schedule will basically be the same, although some things change depending on where port days land on different itineraries. In the Mediterranean where they were always seven night cruises the band even made a joke of “on Thursdays we wear red” because Scarlet Night was always on the same day of the week.
  13. The wrong ship names appear all over the place. I think someone found Valiant Lady in Northern Europe and now Scarlet or Resilient are doing that stop. It’s possible one of the fleet will do that port but at this point don’t take the name as accurate.
  14. Generally speaking I only need to use their app once a day after the first day or so of getting everything booked in. Unless there is a notification of a change, I’d just check in once a day to see if there is anything like a fitness class where a space has opened up from others cancelling. You can pick up a paper guide for show times and then just open the app to book them. I do agree that they probably do need to solve the dining issue when it is busier, but generally Razzle Dazzle and Test Kitchen aren’t busy. They’ve already changed the Razzle menu significantly, maybe that needs another attempt to try and get people in for dinner.
  15. Also no back bacon, definitely not full English!
  16. Omelettes, eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns toast are at the diner station (Diner & Dash). Smoked Salmon is at the bagel/salad station (The Daily Mix). Fresh berries are in the bento boxes (Bento Baby) but they also have some fruit (mainly melon) and yoghurts at The Sweet Side. Cereals are self-service opposite the main counters area. You can order with a server and things get bussed to you, but if they are coming from spare counters they will arrive at different times depending how busy each one is. Omelettes are often the longest wait so place that order and then get some other items while waiting for it.
  17. You get a $10 bonus on $100. They added the ability to buy $100 and $200 late last year in addition to the previous $300 block. Its now $10 bonus on $100 $25 bonus on $200 $50 bonus on $300 unless you have loyalty status which gets you $100 or $125 on $300.
  18. If you want to party you can go to the party without wearing PJs, the people who look more out of place are those who don’t look like they want to be at the party at all!
  19. I think the majority of the time if things move around mid-way through the cruise then it is either weather and sea conditions causing a show not being able to be performed or cast illness or injury. I’ve noticed it being very different once on the ship compared to beforehand, but generally when it changed part way through the cruise there was an obvious reason.
  20. If you are more than 2-10 days out then the order shown in the app will move around before and after boarding.
  21. Shops generally close about 10 or 11pm, casino will be at least 2am unless you pull into port weirdly early (unlikely unless on a repositioning cruise).
  22. Yes room service drinks will come out of bar tab.
  23. No there isn’t a kettle or coffee maker in the room. You can order room service, no delivery fee if you get a paid-for item (like a latte). Razzle Dazzle offers a breakfast/brunch menu but their bacon is candied style, they do also have eggs and vegetarian sausage patty. My favourite there is the waffle. The Wake also offers a brunch menu but there is no bacon & eggs, they do offer Benedict’s and steak & eggs as well as French toast. The Galley food court has standard breakfast items, burritos, French toast, pancakes, bagels, pastries, cereal and oatmeal. Main tips are to do the check in steps in the app ASAP and get an arrival time booked in, book dinners and brunches in the app at 45days out and fitness classes then shows once onboard
  24. I think they assumed people waiting late afternoon snack food would go to the Dock, Social Club or Pizza Place, but often I want a panini sandwich when getting back from a port!
  25. would still be a food court or cafeteria rather than a buffet as it’s not self-service. I think the main thing is that the whole set up is they assume 90% will done in the full service restaurants or at a dinner show, so most of the food court counters are only open breakfast and lunch, closing down around 3-4pm. I agree it should have redesigned menus with more dishes at dinner than currently and the existing lunch menu should continue to at least 4pm.
