  1. There are a couple of restaurants right at the pier (Rusty's, Fishlips, Gators). If you can get a seat on an outside deck this afternoon you can watch all the ships leaving port.Great views!
  2. Gotta love driving in Atlanta. It’s where I learned so I like to tell people that nothing on the road could possibly phase me lmao
  3. Never been to either port, but am going for the fist time in May? Does anyone have any recommendations/must-dos at those ports? They can be official ship excursion or otherwise. Thank you!
  4. Your reviews NEVER fail to brighten my day! Happy to see you in action again! Have an awesome cruise!
  5. Something about those older ships seems so much more elegant than the new ones
  6. Hi all! I’ll be going on the Mardi Gras for the first time in a little under 2 weeks. I was recently looking over all the bar menus and got a bit overwhelmed. There are so many options! I was surprised that it seems like almost every bar has a unique menu, that’s cool! With that being said, what are some of y’all’s favorite drinks from that ship that I could try? Let me know so I can start making a list 😂
  7. Ooh that family with the Michigan flag on their balcony probably aren't having a great night...although they are in an aquatheater suite, so they're probably okay.
  8. I’m in the Mardi Gras in about 3 weeks, it’ll be my first carnival cruise since ‘08 so I’m excited to follow along with y’all!
  9. For those of you who have been on both, which one would you prefer? What differences do you notice the most?
  10. I’m pretty sure that’s just a chef’s complimentary starter, from what I’ve seen most appetizers are MUCH bigger
  11. I have some extra onboard credit on my upcoming Mardi Gras cruise. I already have 555 and Rudi’s booked and I was going to use the credit to book in of those restaurants a second time in the week. Which one would y’all recommend doing twice? I know opinions will differ, but I’m just curious. Thanks!
  12. What kind of specific circumstance?
  13. I'm new to carnival (well kind of new, last time I was on a carnival ship was the glory in 2008 i think), so forgive my ignorance here, but are there a "limited" amount of Cheers packages available? Can they sell out? I only ask because I have a Mardi Gras cruise in January and I haven't purchased mine yet and was wondering if I should go ahead and do it or if I could wait a bit longer. Thank you!
  14. Typically 2 for a 7 night. Will likely be on your sea days. Things aren’t enforced too heavily (this not Cunard), some trousers and a nice shirt should suffice, but you’ll see people dressed to the 9s too, just do whatever makes you the most comfortable friend 🙂
  15. Thank you very much ! Always love your lives!
  16. Hi everyone, I've cruised with Carnival, Norwegian, and MSC in the past but I just booked my first cruise with Royal Caribbean! I'll be going on Wonder of the Seas in January out of port Canaveral and I'm so excited to try a new line! Anything I should know about Royal that differs from the other lines I've taken? Or just any other tips about what to expect would be greatly appreciated as well!
  17. Check in was a breeze, MAYBE 45 minutes from leaving the car to arrogating at the topsail lounge. Attendants at the terminal are very helpful. I will say one thing though, we are scheduled to be in Ocean Cay, but the schedules left in the room last night indicated that the Ocean House Restaurant is closed today. Could be due to complications from recent storms in the area or staffing issues, I’ll assume the former however as staffing onboard has been more than adequate so far. Hopefully it is open for you guys!
