  1. Hi retired dude, Check out the Avila Beach Hotel on Curacao. We reserved day passes for $10 pp. It includes beach & pool access with chairs/umbrellas. It will be our first time visiting but have read good things about it here on CC. We’re thinking of exploring Bonaire on e bikes. So looking forward to this cruise and will be cheering on Big Blue while I wait!
  2. We are too and are counting down the days! Woo hoo and go Big Blue!
  3. Breakfast is available every morning in MDR.
  4. Thanks for sharing your pictures and suggestions!
  5. thanks for this info! I will try again : ) Happy cruising!
  6. Thank you for your review, it sounds like a wonderful way to spend a day. When I went to make a reservation online it took me to What's Ap. I left my request there but didn't receive a response. Is this how you made your reservation? Hoping to visit in April 🙂 Thanks for your help!
  7. After you drop your luggage off at the hotel visit Lori Wilson Park for a walk on the beach. If you're hungry go to the Sand Bar for good bar food and a fun, beachy atmosphere. Check out Rusty's Seafood for live music, great views of the harbor and a tasty pina colada. Have fun and happy cruising!
  8. Try a Paloma, it's made with tequila, grapefruit soda, and lime juice.
  9. We have cruised on both Princess and Celebrity during school holidays and there were not many children on either. Both lines offer a relaxed and laid back experience with great food. My husband has food allergies and Princess does an exceptional job of making accommodations. I would pick the Princess cruise based on the fantastic itinerary. You really can’t go wrong with either of these choices! Happy cruising!
  10. I am wondering what to wear to dinner on an Alaskan cruise. We are excited to see Alaska & cruise on Regent for the first time next month. I have cruised warm weather destinations on Celebrity & Princess. Being new to Regent I would appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks very much!
  11. Thank you for your excellent and thorough review! After reading I am more prepared & excited for next week’s cruise on the Regal. Appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences!
  12. I like to give our room steward something from home so we bring a small box of Woodford Reserve Bourbon balls and cash at the end 😉
  13. To me it represents the “classic” cruise ship and it’s still affordable. Princess offers great cruise stops, excellent service, and a nice variety of dining options. The comfy beds and the library are added bonuses. I have cruised Carnival, NCL, Royal, and Celebrity and had a great trip on all. Princess & Celebrity are my current favorites but when my kids were younger I loved NCL for all the family friendly activities.
  14. We have not received a cabin number yet for our April 2 cruise. We called tonight to check and were told that all cabins in our category (MF) have been assigned. I will keep checking back and hoping that we might get upgraded! We learned that it may be as late as 48 hours before we cruise before we are assigned. I’m just happy to be cruising in 30 days 😉
  15. Thanks! I’ll pack a deck of cards too.
  16. Thank you for your response! I’ll be sure to bring my own books/tablet 😊
  17. I was wondering the very same thing! It looks like it may have been replaced by cabins during the 2019 refurbishment?
