I was on the solstice but just in the mdr. I let the waiter know and the manager came to make sure every night that my order got in for the next day. They went above and beyond anything I could ask for. I had a special desert every night that was made separate of the other food.

believe its captain theo. i am not 100% sure but he was very nice the couple times i ran into him on the ship. his announcements was entertaining as well.

celebrity solstice last month had them on the list of classic appetizers which was available every night. i dont know if all the ships serve the same appetizers.

did you try the solarium? its 16+ in there most of the time.

same burgundy couch and gold pillows. i didnt ask about ov i responded to post who asked for pictures. i didnt have pictures but was describing what i saw last time i was on there.

during dinner hours they had one station which rotated food, sandwich section, side section called kid section with hot dogs hamburgers mac n cheese with nuggets or fish fingers. Plus the normal pizza/pasta and salad. its more than they were offering at the start of the year.

nope the cruise is for me. so sad to see people away just because a small aspect they dont enjoy. is there anything on the ship you dont enjoy or would rather change maybe you should try a different option. seems petty right? i am not at work i am not in a nice restaurant in town i am not having dinner with any of the family i am on vacation. on vacation again i want to be relaxed. not stressed about making sure i gave my self time to get back and change eat and change again. when i went did i change yes. again i would prefer if they had a section where you didn't have to. the last cruise a week or two ago i was near the back and saw 5-8 different people come in with shorts/tshirts women and men with several of them doing it several times. i had no issue. the 20+ staff they had to walk by to get to the table didnt seem to stop them.

i dont have kids. i want to be relaxed like i said on vacation i would rather be in shorts and tshirt. there really isnt many options there was mdr with dress code or a scaled back dinning for the oceanview cafe. also had less people on board so not as packed. i dont mind kids but liked the older crowed with celebrity. it clearly isnt a deal breaker i just dont see the need or it setting "standards".

was on celebrity the other week and saw several people come in with tshirts and shorts. i understand people want to dress up or look nice but on vacation i rather be in shorts and a tshirt. should allow it in a section in the back or part of the upper level or something. so i guess its hit or miss.

it will work to buy a cheap phone just to use it for the app if you want. though the other suggestions are better to ask around to borrow an older phone just for the cruise.

both times i been on while signed up for green always got new towels even when i always put them back on the rail. i never been without go green since i am new but they almost show up too often. i have told them not to stress that i am fine.

Seems fun activities. My mom was worried about taking my nephew on celebrity so decided to go carnival. I am sure he would have done perfectly fine. Between activities and looked like Xboxes on the other post. Maybe next time. Thanks for sharing.
