  1. Google AARP Rewards and you'll find a link to the Rewards. The gift cards are digital; I had mine in less than 5 minutes.
  2. On iPhone, go into the Clock app, tap World Clock, and add your ports and Orlando. Then you'll be able to see both the local port times and the ship's time.
  3. Per day??? Oh HAAAAAIIIIL no. Just noticed it has disappeared from the list of Internet plans for my booking.
  4. I see it, too, for a sailing on Miracle out of Looooong Beach in October. Cell phone usage in Mexico and something like 21 other Caribbean countries is free for me, so this ain't no deal at all in my case! Edit to add: but I appreciate that Carnival is exploring new options in the Wi-Fi space!
  5. Yes to both. Just got off the Pride earlier this month and paper menus were available in the MDR. For the daily schedule, you can pick them up at Guest Services or the coffee shop.
  6. I was thinking the same thing! I actually forgot my beard scissors on my last cruise, and had the spa do a beard trim ($30). What a great racket if they confiscate the scissors to drive traffic to the spa lol!
  7. Mine a few weeks ago looked ok to me. But that mattress definitely needed replacing! I know someone else posted about that, and based on the pictures theirs were way worse than mine.
  8. For reference, on Pride a few weeks ago a 500ml bottle of water was $1.75 and the 1.5l bottle was $4.25 when bought from a bar. They will, of course, add gratuity to that. Both were included in my Cheers package (the larger bottle only in the MDR).
  9. I'm 100% picturing John Candy in Vacation saying "a BB could get lodged under the skin and cause a VERY serious infection"
  10. Yeah, I was hoping this was carry-on thing. My non-surge power strip made it through checked bag screening no problem back in Feb. Forgot to take my Sasquatch control tool (scissors).
  11. On John Heald's video this morning, he mentioned that things had been getting confiscated that shouldn't have been, and this it has stopped. He didn't specify what the items were. Anyone have any idea what he's talking about? I saw a video elsewhere where it was mentioned that a man's nose hair scissors were taken, and in the roll call for my cruise earlier this month someone posted that they were taking non-surge protected power strips, but that's all I've heard. BOTH of those were in Tampa, btw, and John's comment came right after talking about facial biometrics coming to Tampa. Just curious!
  12. I was on Pride a few weeks ago and while I couldn't get my MacBook Pro to work at all, I was talking with someone at the casino who said his NordVPN was working fine.
  13. I just got off the Pride, and was in 1187, deck 1 outside view below the casino. The casino noise and smoke got pretty bad one night and woke me up... and I can sleep through nearly anything. If you're below guest services or the shore excursion desk, the noise might not be horrible, but the Atrium got pretty loud, too, during the cruise. Red Frog was VERY loud in the evenings; I could hear it very well above it in the piano bar. For the obstructed view, note that the Piano Bar got loud in the evenings, but I don't know how late that went. You'll probably be ok over the "fun shops"
