Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Wow, that's cool I hope to want to go! Hopefully, on the World America in 2025! Hope you had a great time there.
  2. He's a snob Champagne taste on a beer budget. Look at his other videos very arrogant individual.
  3. Hi all I received a status match for this cruise (1/15/2024) of 9000 points for Gold on my rewards total currently. When I complete my cruise will I receive additional points for the cruise, or just my match points already rewarded? Thanks
  4. Meraviglia 1/15-1/26 2024. I bought this pass several weeks ago for $195. THERMAL AREA SINGLE CRUISE PASS - 11 DAY Price: $ 303 per Adult THERMAL AREA COUPLE CRUISE PA
  5. I was just looking at the Spa + Beauty options for my January 15, 2024 sailing on the MSC Meraviglia 11 night cruise. MSC just raised the Thermal Area Cruise Pass from $195 to a whopping $303. I wonder if the cause of this increase is related to the amount of passes already sold? So as to limit the amount of people buying cruise passes because they are already at capacity, or that this is a permanent price increase. If so, the daily rate for an 11 day pass just went from $17 to $27 pre cruise purchase. Wow. I'm so glad I already purchased the Thermal Pass for $195. Two items have had significant price increase since I booked this cruise my 3 specialty dining package price went from $71 to $110 and I'm able to still pick my own restaurants or it I have to follow the new guidelines where MSC picks them for the dining packages as they do now. Of course they added Hola Taco to the 3 package price 😞 I wanted to go there ala carte since all you can eat is $17.99 or maybe they raised that price as well? Oh I forgot that the upgrade to Premium drink to Easy Plus was available at $222 but now that option has just disappeared from the beverage section.
  6. Does anyone know that when you are status matched to Gold for your first cruise, will you also earn voyager club points for that cruise and any incidental spending? Thanks.
  7. I understand that the Top 19 Exclusive Solarium on the Meraviglia is a perk of the Aurea Experience. However, on the MSC App for Me for my on the Meraviglia listed under the Spa section it says that the Top 19 Exclusive Solarium is available for purchase day passes on a space available basis. Has anyone ever taken advantage of this offer and if so, what was the cost to buy a pass for the day? Also, is bar service available in the Top 19 Exclusive Solarium? Thanks.
  8. Considering that it is dubious whether an MSC will always stock top shelf brands. Do you think that it is worth it to upgrade to the MSC Premium beverage package? Thanks.
  9. From what I have seen listed the thermal spa is $80 per day on board and one should inquire at spa desk for the weekly/cruise pass price (which is never a good sign). At $195 the thermal pass works out to $18 per day. It also clearly states that the thermal pass is 43% less if you book pre-cruise. As to any refunds once you are on board and decide you don't like the thermal spa I don't know. Hope this helps.
  10. Ditto for me was listed $195 for 11 day on meraviglia on 1/15 bummed 😞
  11. Does anyone know what the current 2023 ship model costs in the MSC Logo Shop? I'll be on the Mareviglia on 1/15/24 sailing? Also, I saw on one of the past daily planners an event is in the logo shop one day where the Captain will be there to sign the ship at time of purchase. Sorta like an author book signing at Barnes and Noble lol
  12. I have a 10-10:30 check in time for the MSC Meraviglia on 1/15 helps. But I too wonder if I should show up earliet to avoid a huge security check in line just to get inside the terminal?
  13. However, from what I've been able to surmise the aft cabins are below the last half of the Marketplace buffet is actually roped off during the evenings so hopefully not too much noise emanating from this area except perhaps the cleaning crew for a while? Not sure, but I did go ahead and book cabin 14256 which is an aft solo balcony right beneath the Marketplace Buffet, with unfortunately a connecting door with adjacent cabin. Fingers crossed! Just so happy to be able to afford a balcony cabin on as a solo passenger. Sailing on Jan 15 will keep CC posted on my experience with this cabin location.
  14. Do you think today is MSC's best Black Friday Deal? Or will it be better on the actual Black Friday?
