How was the buffet?
-
thank you MM!

thanks coral. I still see it, though. But yeah, the source is empty, even when I right click I cant see the original location of the map.

Hey AussieJepp, just wanted to see if you could help with this. When's your next cruise?
-
Hey, where did you get the map in your signature? Id like to get one...
-
thank you both!

Hi all, I have a 50 dollar OBC. I don't see it anywhere on my cruise planner page. Where can I See this credit?
2. Is the main dining room open for lunch? I know the windjammer is, but sometimes I don't feel like waiting around for the crowd.

Hmmm, I don't see that on the list of RCCL excursions. The only thing I see is the "Save a Sea Turtle" experience which I would think is seasonal. Doesn't look like there is any snorkeling involve.
The only place in the area, that you are "almost" guaranteed to see turtles is in Akumal (Mainland). And that's not a sanctuary, it's just a beach/cove where there is a lot of turtle grass and there tends to be a lot of turtles there. They are in the wild and not "cared for or caged" so to speak.
Yes, that's what I saw as well. That is the excursion I meant.

There is a snorkeling excursion to a turtle sanctuary from rccl

I appreciate the input. I have narrowed it down to Tulum or a snorkel adventure. Any other feedback I would welcome!
-
Thanks! yeah, I really want to go to the turtle cove and do some snorkel. However, It has always been a dream of mine to see Tulum. I guess I have some thinking to do. I would also like to see Chitzen, but that seems to be fading behind at this time.
-
Want to do all three, however, I only have time for one. Talum has a nice beach behind it I hear. Can anyone help me decide?

Use a TA, you'll be taken care of better

I just booked this cruise and I am looking forward to it very much. My family has sailed her before and absolutely loved it. I have always thought the freedom class ships were great. What do you, my fellow cruisers have to say about the liberty? Anything a must see?

Can anyone explain to me what is going on with the entertainment in april with the EPIC? Blue man is gone, I know, but I am unable to book circ dreams as well. Is that suspended?

I was on the Pearl back in December and I wanted to review it when I got back, however, I was a little disappointed. I wanted to wait until I was able to let it all absorb a bit. Overall, I did have a good time, the itinerary was great, the ship was clean. There were just a few things that I didn't think were all that great. I am going to go from the last day of the cruise and back.
1. Having breakfast in the summer palace last day of cruise, no water refills, no coffee refills. Waited over 10 minutes since I've seen my waitress. the dining room was not busy at all and I was there alone. The food this morning was some of the worst ever. Cold pancakes, stale biscuits.
2. My cabin steward was great, however, sometimes he would forget to leave my daily. I like reviewing the daily before bed.
3. This cruise had a lot of football games being showing in the atrium. very popular, no chairs left if you didn't get there at least 15 minutes early. Not once did the staff prepare for this. Once settled in, the atrium had 1 bartender for the entire place. You couldn't leave your seat or someone would immediately take it and it was impossible to get a drink.
4. The pool area was dead almost the entire cruise. granted the first few days the weather was awful, but after that there was only a couple of activities on the pool deck.
5. The staff had a different answer for the same question depending on who you asked. One night, I wanted to order tepenyaki and take it to go, the first person I asked said I could, then the second when I came back later said I could not.
6. The hotel director told me he was going to invite me to a special event and never did. After we talked for over a half hour during the lat. party.
Overall, it was a fine cruise. Those were just some of the things I thought could have really been better.

I am off to the Back to Belly Sky-Pearl! Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving!
-
Looks like the hiking excursion I wanted to do filled up before I could get on. Does anyone know how I could do some hiking in Martinique?
-
-
Complete overhaul of the cruise terminal. Going to make it into modern shops with a farris wheel and other uninteresting things.
-
Does the Sky have men's haircut services?
-
Does anyone know if either or both of these ships offer men's haircuts? I know the EPIC does, but I am unsure about these ships.
-
I think I am going to do the fortress tour in the AM, will I have time to go to Cockleshell beach?
-
After my excursion, I will have time to do something like a beach. What beach should I go to near the port?
Poker Poker Poker!
in Norwegian Cruise Line

One of the main reason I like Norwegian more than other cruise lines is it has real poker tables and dealers. On the Getaway though, a ship of 4000+ they only had one table, while the epic had two. Does anyone know if they will have more than 1 table on the Escape?
